ALL STR 2024 auto applied for SARA, as long valid for STR, you will get RM 300(family) or RM 150(bujang or warga emas) this year in your IC.

If you wanna get higher for SARA, you gonna be poorest poor to sign up for eKasih, and getting RM 100(family) or RM 50(bujang or warga emas) per month in IC.

So nope, no one can applied for SARA, you can only applied for STR 2024 or eKasih, and get SARA as bundle.

SARA is under MyKasih Foundation assist, as MyKasih already got the system works on reading IC and record it, so gov just outsource it to Mykasih.
So no need double job for that, no need completely new system as eKasih too less person using.

But, SARA open to STR 2024 is new, so the system might have issues if MyKasih don't expend it on time.
(It is normal, as the MyKasih system just for small amount of Malaysian which is poorest poor, it might break as the system designed not for this huge)

PS: Correct me if I am wrong la.
PS2: As STR 2024 just given yearly for SARA, you can just take time, and use it during middle of time, not the beginning, not the ending period.

As above, I guess the STR2024 data is a bit too big for the MyKasih system to handle, so it take time.

As I am not the IT behind them, I guess they might need to extend it a bit first, so it will not get overloaded by STR 2024 customer at first few week and down.
Unless they got a good cloud team prepared la, but I not gonna hope for that...

Still, the system is mainly critical for eKasih/poorest poor Malaysian(RM 100 per month for family, 50 for single), so STR 2024 is normal to be delayed la.

And yes, I also just know STR 2024/we get SARA in this thread, you just think how big the hit(to the system) gonna be when social media promote about it.
