Hi guys,

While I was searching for a budget 144hz monitor, I saw this brand "Anmite 24 Inch IPS 144hz" and I was wondering if this brand is legit cause this monitor is so cheap. I tried to search for more review on Google, but I couldn't find any and I saw this monitor is also mostly used in Malaysia, so I wonder if anyone can share a little bit of info about this monitor.

I haven't got a plan to buy this monitor cause I already got my eyes on another monitor. I just want to know more about this brand.

I'm not sure if this is enough information but i did buy the monitor and this is what I have to say about it.

Pros:
144hz
IPS panel ( Colour is okay. Might be able to find a VA panel with similiar results )
Okay viewing angle ( it is an IPS )

Cons:
No sharpness setting ( the monitor is too sharp really. You will notice it when you see sharp lines )
The contrast on the OSD resets whenever the monitor goes to sleep.
Really limited OSD functions. ( Only contrast and RGB slider literally thats all )
Freesync is sketchy and the seller will not let you know the VRR. ( they don't even know what that is )
Backlight bleed at about 5 spots. ( Its really noticeable trust me. Other owners of the monitor have reported the same )
HDR is shit ( although this is not exclusive to this monitor. HDR tech just isnt THAT good on monitors yet. )

I've only listed panel specific Pros and Cons. Which in my opinion is the most important. I cant test the vesa mount eventhough its compatible.

I've tweaked the rates on CRU for the freesync and to my testing i could not find a setting that would not blackout the screen when its on.

My advice: Save your money and get the same specs for a bit more in price. I decided to take a gamble. Dont be me.

It could be just my experience in getting the freesync to work but really the seller is not very helpful.

The GPU i was using to run the freesync was a GTX 1060 which should work in theory. Eventhough the seller insists that it can only work with AMD cards.
