Hi, I am using UBS for my office use, I am just wondering is there anyway that I can duplicate another thumb myself because I have changed almost 3 thumb after warranty period and it cost me around RM300 per thumb.
For those who never know UBS, it's thumb is totally different from our normal thumb drive, when you plug into your USB thumb driver, it wont detect any new hardware, it's just show nothing in thumb driver.
Please help.

yeah, it's a UBS software. If I call them, they will give me a new thumb license key, but after 1 year (after warranty period), then I need to pay RM300 for it. No one know how I can dup 1 to keep as backup?

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Jan 25 2008, 07:25 AM) Do you think a "security" dongle is easy to be duplicated into a HDD? Technically, you're not supposed to duplicate a key nor it's possible to duplicate one. After a long time, then recently some people knew how to make the dongle themselves for piracy purpose. So I would say it's impossible to duplicate one without going to UBS, unless you want to step into the illegal side. i think UBS now using new technology instead of thumb. From what I know, they are using certificate now.
