is mid apr an OK date to go japan for spring to avoid peak period?

march - early apr will be sakura season
end of apr-early may - golden week

or mid may will be better? but temperature will be rising as it gets near to summer.
tiring if walk whole day in malaysia temperature

somemore japan just opened its borders to tourists.
not sure how pack will it be.
would like to avoid super peak season to have a more pleasant trip.

I read from wise website. Their debit card can be used to withdraw from visa atm?

Can anyone confirm or did it before?

Cash withdrawals
You can also withdraw cash from most ATMs — except the countries specified above for US and non-US cards respectively. If you don’t know of any ATM near you, just use the Mastercard ATM locator or Visa ATM locator to find one.

If you stay at Namba, you can take Nankai Airport Express or JR Limited Express "Haruka"
Both train also stop at Namba Station. One will be Nankai Namba Station , another will be JR-Namba Station
*
looks like haruka Rapi:t departs at 6am. my flight departs at 8.55am.

2 hours will be sufficient to check in?

i read in reddit that KIX is doing some renovation to accommodate the 2025 osaka kansai expo.

which end up delay at security there for 1-2 hours.

Does the JR Haruka express stops at Namba? I thought only the normal JR Rapid Service stops at Namba.
*
hmmm which means i have to follow google with nankai airport line since haruka doesnt stop at namba.

dont think ill be staying over at rinku town for the night

hopefully no major delay @ KIX

- Indeed its super crowded. Those planned to go USJ, if you can afford to take express pass, take it. Otherwise, do ride with the most ride you like (eg mario or roller coaster flying which paid of the ticket)

*
USJ xpress pass you bought online via their site?

I am planning to visit USJ mid December and of course would like to visit Super Nintendo World. Understand that you will need another pass to get in. However when I try to get the ticket form Klook, it seems that all dates are full and only available date are in January. Is this correct or booking can only be done on that day itself?
*
Based on my research. Tickets in USJ web can be purchased up to 2 months ahead if im not miataken. And they run out pretty fast. So you got to be fast.
And only certain cards are accepted and the date format is different when input to purchase.
As for klook. They give u random time. If given u 7pm, which is near closing, u cant enjoy it.
I read that you go there super early. Queue, and be the first of many that enter. Then rush straight to SNW. People say this early, timed entry not yet start.
And to register for timed entry. U need to be in the park itself. Then use their USJ app to get a timed slot.
I think there is lottery for those who fail to get a slot.

That means we also have to buy the ticket for SNW even though we can rush straight in on that day itself? In klook, its not the time that is disable, its the day itself.
However when I wen to USJ Japanese version, we can chose the date! If you use English version, dates are not available
*
If youre those early birds, and they didnt change their policy or operating standards. You can just go in straight with just a normal pass.
If youre not risking it, or they suddenly change , no more free early entries then you need express pass on top of your normal pass. And the express pass need to include SNW ya.
I didnt try USJ web jap version tho. I am incapable of checking ou using jap.
Previously i researched n waited, english version web tickets do sell out pretty fast. Need to buy exactly on the date they release it. Especially those early SNW entry time

The website explanation is very vague. It says someday you don't need a ticket but did not specify which date. In Klook there a a few fast pass, though not all include SNW but the Japanese site have only one fast pass which is freaking expensive
*
I guess cause its subjective to the number of headcounts in the park? I guess it is not possible to not require timed entry ticket later during the day. As japan is facing overtourism and USJ is one of the super peak area.
Which explains those early birds can just rush into SNW without timed entry ticket.
Then later during the day. Timed entry ticket is required.
Also there are youtubers go in without timed entry ticket, which was during covid time, and the park is quite empty.
Yeah the express pass package that comes with timed entry ticket double up the ticket price.
If you are loaded and dont like risking not able to enter, then get express pass je.

Hi, want to ask, is it ok to just purchase Universal Studio Osaka express from klook.com or pelago.co? Or is there any other website to purchase?
*
Bought mine via Klook. The price u pay are for certain days of the week according to their traffic.
Like i bought A day ticket. I believe i can use on any A days on their calendar.

Hi guys,
I’m going to USJ on May, I don’t really enjoy rides but want to go Super Nintendo World to take pictures, I know there is a time entry ticket, I don’t mind arriving very early, but if I purchase express pass I’m guaranteed in.
My question is, is it worth it if I don’t really go on rides? I just like taking pictures and the food.
The express pass stated express 7,does it mean that it’s only Express for the 7 rides? Or it’s an express for 7 main rides and all the other smaller ones?
Thank you very much.
*
if u dont mind going early, then reach before 7am. if even earlier then better like 6.30 or 6.
standard opening time is 9am, usually they will give early entry like 8am~
no need express pass. going in early n rushing there straight. like 90% of the early go-ers does this.
going early minimize the crowd, hence better picture taking or angle chance.
it gets more n more crowded.
i would say not worth if u not going for rides.
mario kart koopa's challenge is really nice, of all the USJ rides n shows, i enjoyed this the most.
harry potter n demon slayer XR ride gave me motion sickness.
food is not cheap, theme park standard pricing, starts at 600-700Y for snack.
going early also less queue for themed restaurant

Thank you very much for the informative detail, I was thinking to save the express pass money for food. I think I’ll just arrive there as early as possible. Once again thanks for the helpful reply.
*
Yeah since u dont want to indulge in rides, then it is even not worth for express pass.
Once u left SNW, then you can use the app and get your ticket for re-entry. It is based on the nearest available time slot.
U can register everyone pass in your app. Then get the nearest slot if u want to reenter. Since youre there early, i doubt u want to reenter cause of the crowd.
Also reentering also queue damn long ya even with timed entry ticket.
The morning first rush part no need queue at all.
But i would say u can do koopa challenge once u get there first, as the queue can get up to 2 hrs an hour later when i view the crowd queue from the app.
U can either eat some bento inside hotel first then go out.
Or buy bread, then eat while queueing.
