Dumb question, How different is the eel rice in Nagoya vs other cities? Because I’m just passing by Nagoya, might not have the luxury of time to put bags in the locker and go to another station just to buy a snack😅

My wife and I have both had 3 shots Sinovac already, just want to ask if there is anything i need to be aware of and get done to ensure fast entry?
Is the visit japan application still required?

Got back from Japan earlier this week, sharing a few info:
1. Tokyo is more than 80% using credit/prepaid card. Not sure where I read people saying Japan prefer cash. Not with Tokyo.
2. I tested among Wise, TnGo and Bigpay visa prepaid card, Wise gives best exchange rate. I tried so you no need to try.

3. Cash (changed from mid valley money changer) still gives best rate. Though if you do not spend much the discrepancy might not be significant. Might as well just use Wise to make life easier.

Small eateries, Izakaya mostly are cash.
Most of ramen shop still cash because mostly have to order thru small machine outside.

Accept card mostly are chain store and new open eateries and 50% Michelin guided eateries. If you go those real serving local restaurant which never appear in internet, they still accept cash only.

I been Tokyo and Kansai area last month. I was think why got so big differences until I realised, Most of ppl people going Tokyo are tourist including you, the route you heading are tourist zone and I was opposite way, I am heading living as local direction. The eateries and Izakaya are non serving tourist. The placed I heading was Kodaira, Tachikawa, Hachioji, Takao side.  I was on West side of Tokyo which is residential area.

The flight time and fare price seems OK?

Planning to go on early November, flight ticket I checked is around RM2550, so that left me with RM7,450.
Don't plan to stay in any fancy accommodation but if budget permits maybe will splurge one night in a decent ryokan.
How was your tour like? Are you able to spend comfortably with that budget or have to be mindful when spending on meals and accomodations?

Do you recon it will have enough time for Osaka ? - it only took 2 hours 30m to travel between Tokyo and Osaka with Tokaido- Sanyo Shinkansen - seems like US is more fun compare to Disney

Do you think it worth scarifying 2 days on Osaka just for Universal Studio ( I know that is subjective - but just taking other view before considering my option)
