do local proton car have eksais duty imposed?

    I've said many times..Proton is being taxed heavily too. If Gomen is sincere want to protect Proton 100%, there would not tax and duties..if Proton dies - other cars will still get taxed heavily to offset the gomen lost of revenue in Proton's absence, very easy to make money..I made it simple in English understand?

I bought the Savvy for RM42888 in 2005, it would cost only RM 32k without tax and duties..we ould get gen.2 or waja at near 30k and over 40k?

Actually I don't really get the difference between EON or PE cars. Some says EON cars undergo more stringent PDI (pre-Delivery Inpection) check hence less probs with EON cars. Bought my savvy from EON, no probs so far, very reliable, 4 months to go for the car to become 2-year old.

55k with dual airbags, abs, ebd with a super large boot area and its a sedan....

8000 may not be a good news. Proton only expecting around 4K per month now they need to push for quantity, otherwise people on the waiting list may have to wait along time for their car (now it's already 3+ month). When pushing for volume, sometimes the quality factor may be get push aside (this apply to all manufacturer) in order to meet the demand.

The good news the Proton plant can meet the demand since it is a big plant. They also phased out the Wira already so there should be enough resource to meet the demand

Nothing wrong with that. Instead of spending RM500M making a brand new one they just spent RM25M

1 thing i wonder la..other car manufacturer always come up with cars more and more expensive compared to the previous, but how come proton cars are getting cheaper and cheaper compared to the previous?

To be exact the rear seats. I can say leg room is just ok by me but the seats behind are kinda hard.

in neo, the sound insulation from the engine bay is so-so only....

but for persona, since its tune for comfort, the sound insulation from the engine is definitely better then the ones found on the neo...
the engine sound for the persona is much more quieter / nicer compared to neo

I noticed the seat can be folded COOL   actaully big trunk space so the this foldable seats not really a necessity
