hmm.gif, i think my E6300 indeed hitting the ceiling now... tried on 3.5GHz, it just won't boot (500x7), 3.4GHz can boot, i even can game with this speed but failed on all stress test while getting BSOD after 10 minutes Call Of Duty 4 @Bog... so i guess, 3.2GHz (457x7) is ok now with tighter timing, 4-3-3-10 CR2, longer 1M SuperPI though...

searching for nice stable voltage to processor... the voltage default @1.2500v, there's no problem hitting @stock...

fixing 333MHz x 10, disabling C1E and EIST and PAE or whatsoever, the voltage control started at...

BIOS Setup (V) | BIOS Current Voltage (V) | Result
1.3375 | 1.3200 | half-booted
1.3500 | 1.3360 | half-booted
1.3625 | 1.3520 | half-booted
1.3750 | 1.3600 | auto-reboot after idled 5 minutes
1.3875 | 1.3680 (1.3520 *) | passed 1M SuperPI, hang on Orthos
1.4000 | 1.3840 (1.3920 *) | passed 1M SuperPI, hang on Orthos
1.4125 | 1.3920 (1.4080/1.3760 *) | passed 1M SuperPI, hang on Orthos
1.4250 | x.xxxx (1.4160/1.3920 *) | passed 1M SuperPI, running test now... over 20 minutes now (doh.gif, wakakak... failed after 30 minutes)

still running...

temperature... HR-01 + 120mm ADDA Fan (full speed - push); 120mm LianLi Fan (low speed - pull)

Aegis Panel : 69°C los; 72°C his
CoreTemp 0.96 : 75°C los; 79°C his

doh.gif... laugh.gif

doh.gif, i don't think you guys get my objective right? i'm searching for ideal vcore because in my theory, the current vcore applied seems too high for that speed (3.33GHz)... using SuperPI 1M because, it's faster and if indeed not stable, it won't pass, my style of overclocking is... get to the highest, run SuperPI 1M (if pass), run Orthos... >5 hours, then considered stable most of the time... that's all... smile.gif

about the temp... no worries, i leave it alone... if too hot... sure it'll auto reboot...

hmm.gif, i think i hit the processor's ceiling le... or is it just my mistake?, i succesfully get a stable 333 x 10, DRAM 1:1 (667), as you guys may know... E4500 using 11x multiplier, so i raise the multiplier to 11x, but couldn't boot... ok, raise to at a point which is i think insane already... 1.6000V still couldn't boot to Windows, is it because already hit ceiling or there's something i haven't done? unsure.gif
