Bought the iPad Pro from Apple Malaysia website on 25 May with engraving. ETA 5 June.

But the MK is further two weeks away, so end up didn’t get one.

I have been researching what cases I should use. Would prefer something without front cover just like my UAG case for iPhone XR. But nothing like that exist.

Still gonna get MK but wait machines or any local outlet got stock. Meanwhile ordered Logitech K380 and buy a stand for typing purpose.

People say Apple don’t innovate but I find their product ease of use and more relevant compare to a laptop or xiaomi smart fit gadget. Cheap but not seamless like Apple Watch. Besides, the Software innovation and support is atleast 5 years. Android just two years and windows is to me not relevant unless AAA gaming. Not a creative professional.

Next WWDC is Soon, I can’t wait what my iPad Pro can do next.

Didn’t get magic keyboard but this set up already good enough for typing. I prefer the compact yet larger keyboard (Logitech K380)

We might not need an iPad Pro but it’s really a laptop alternative. It does all my computing needs and then more. I prefer using apps than dealing with installation on windows. Windows 10 also doesn’t have any apps for casual users, so most of the time just using browser.

It’s not even that big, it’s just a bit longer than 11 inch iPad Pro. It’s very portable! Now I don’t see why I should get a keyboard that cost 1350.

Keyboard 94, Apple smart folio 339, and I plan to get Logitech pebble mouse. If considering u get cheaper case, it’s just fraction of the cost. Save the money next month gaji buy Apple Pencil. This accessories is recommended by YouTubers.

Or u can go Apple route with its official magic keyboard, smart folio, Magic Mouse 2 AND Apple Pencil for 1599. Still cheaper. At my case is I don’t type all the time. Just for side hustle. iPad is primarily a touch device.

I’m surprised by the quality. First time buy Bluetooth keyboard. Usually kiamsap buy cheap wired keyboard for my desktop.. the keys don’t feel mushy, it feels premium material.

What’s your ETA on Apple website? Mine Bought 25th. processed 27th. ETA estimate 5th - 10th June but arrived 1st June. Same as when I buy AirPods. For many days the tracking not updated but suddenly arrive sooner than expected.

No. I don’t get sms from DHL but I got 3 sms from Apple Store. First for shipped, second for Delivering today and third for delivered.

Ah I see, so they ship again from KL to sarawak. Should be arrive soon. Consider fast also but Malaysia really a lot holiday. Same situation with my AirPods but still they arrive on ETA.

First time holding it sure feel light. With all your strength you’re not sure what to expect.

But 11 inch is already heavy single handed use while laying on the bed. I can’t imagine using 12.9 inch.

Didn’t regret one bit! Has enough real estate to use google docs.

From my experience Remote Play PS4 works if you’re on 5gz network on Unifi (and equivalent speed with other network). My speed minimum 100mbps down. It doesn’t really work on other network (4G) or even the 2.4ghz WiFi. The main issue is will keep disconnecting.

Remote play PS button and touchpad is not supported because they use existing Mifi drivers. Officially supported but not specially design for PS4.

I’m similar situation too with regards of only owning iPad Pro and Logitech k380 keyboard. I use the touch screen while typing on the keyboard which I think acceptable but for precision wise like moving the cursor to edit, highlight/select or move between words, a mouse would be preferable. Lazy to go out to buy for now.

As for why I didn’t get MK besides it’s expensive, I don’t type all the time. When I go out I prefer my iPad Pro to be lightest as possible as I don’t carry in bag. And also, unless u are hardcore worker, I use for media consumption purposes while going out which doesn’t require an overpriced keyboard.

When I’m in need, I’ll just bring the keyboard with me. And K380 is very light.

It’s rare to see someone so interested in remote play. Nice.

I tried many ways of remote play too, from vita to laptop to phone and finally iPad Pro. Can’t wait for PS5 remote play.

Remote play just stream the video output to your iPad or screen. Nothing to do with the FPS. The actual ps4 is the one doing all the job running the games.

From my experience i don’t feel nausea on PS4 remote play while playing a 720p AAA game on my GTX 1050 Ti desktop feels headache in 30 min. Definitely the FPS thing. But you still can set High Frame Rate under remote play app settings.

Finish FF7R on remote play. The ONLY way I’m able to get PS4 remote play working is under 5GHz network under Unifi. Even 2.4Ghz will dropout connection and not to mention 4G will display connection too slow. (Prob due to other connection/congested/interference)

Of course it is still better to play natively on tv. But imagine playing it on your bed with iPad Pro or even 20km away in another place, (due to MCO) I still can smoothly play FF7R.

PS4/PS4 slim can output max 720p while PS4 Pro can output 1080p

Use Apple smart folio only. I Like it because it’s easy to fit in the bag or carry around.

MK would be more portable in terms of having both keyboard and case together.

But in any case, I still like to remove the cover when using on bed. Shedding any possible weight is welcome because it’s really heavy while laying down. And both is great because it’s only magnets.

In terms of safety, must be extra careful. Hold tightly and don’t ever drop your tablet. Don’t reckon playing and walking together. Once drop, your screen or side metal will jialat.

Sure UAG case would be welcome. But I treat my iPad Pro like I would treat a laptop (which doesn’t have case). I only use it when I’m in a stable position. Coz if u drop laptop it’s also gone case.

Minor/S update. iPadOS only the Apple Pencil added functionality?

Planning to buy Apple Pencil soon. Do the stores (any) has them in stock?

In most cases, you will get it earlier before estimated date.

Apple usually underpromise and overdeliver. It’s their marketing tactic.

Bought Apple Pencil gen 2 for iPad Pro 2020 yesterday at Machines KLCC. Seems like got some stock already?

Remote play PS4 crashes and i just view the Sony ps store for 3 mins. Twice. So i stopped.

I bought the Logitech Pebble mouse at a store with Logitech signboard in Midvalley just beside the bridge connecting Gardens. More expensive than buying online but I don’t wanna wait

Rather than widget, I love the new Music interface with album art being focus.

If you have the money, why not? Typing experience def better than Smart Keyboard folio but its not portable.

So if you thinking of using it at work, you either need to carry around a keyboard or have two sets.

If just Smart Keyboard it does everything.

And Magic Mouse
