Off course, it is using latest CPU with extra one core for GPU.No surprise here, if running slower then need to be surprise.

Ipad pro indeed is a very powerful device. Even the previous gen still running today without ever hiccup.. overwhelming power under the hood, more than what it needs for its usage.. except those who deal with super demanding media content and rendering, but you better off with a proper computer then. The current ipad need no more power to stay relevant for at least next 3 years.. i wonder what else apple would do in the next gen.. almost feel it doesn’t need to be another new model unless with major design changes. They just need to keep improving the software especially for productivities
Yup agree, and battery consumption as well.I notice this iPad Pro battery is not that last longer compare with my previous iPad Air 2. Haha!I forgot to test whether it can run 8K HDR video or not. I got one 8K HDR documentary where none of my device can playback in proper, include LG C9 TV, Apple TV 4K and also my few years ago iCore7 laptop. Haha! If this iPad also cannot play, means they is still enhancement of CPU and GPU. Haha!
