Using PON Stick can display Astro Fiber VLAN ID? installer refuse to tell what VLAN which cannot use custom router

You know what, I tried Skyworth that Maxis use, with TM friend who on my side, the OLT still give same ME 171 remain same even 0x601 (VoIP) and 0xe01 (VEIP) are not exist on Skyworth!!!

friend said it should automatically update ME 171 by making VLAN 400 to 0x101 (LAN 1)

sadly his level not high enough to remove so called 'dited' (account bind to S/N and specific ME 171 profile)

well this issue, modification needed as my PON Stick to override ME 171 as usual

all these came same from Realtek Luna SDK, is anyone has teardown that Skyworth Combo?
Suppose ME171 told ONT where VLAN suppose to be, where VLAN should bind to LAN port and VLAN tag to tag or untag...
Mainly PON Stick had to override ME 171 and use PON Side VLAN to bridge at single SFP interface, eg: eth0
But many ONT override and ignore ME 171, like this better not using ME 171 at all, just ME 84 like TIME

Oversell bandwidth on HWTC? look at Maxis NGBB, bigmojo having the fastest 2Gbps, clocked at ~2185Mbps download compared with Unifi@ZTE only 2100Mbps

I don't know how OLT operate the bandwidth, like in So-net in Japan, using my PON Stick Nijika, it cause upload speed overshoot and Nokia OLT can issue connection termination, I told them create a QoS just to limit at 1000Mbps and no disconnect after that...

looking back Allo at Port Dickson, also using Nokia OLT, the 1Gbps plan always around 940Mbps even in 2.5G mode, I guess Allo know 2.5G ONT and not to oversell the bandwidth, perhaps my fault went to Pendakwah Teknologi in attempt to replace Calix ONT with cooperation with Allo Engineer

Can you open and remove the heatsink and see what SoC Skyworth using?

The D-Link ONR is bad news, kwss found several CVE and I verify with other guy has same CVE Id, 'other guy' found more CVE

As I said before, D-Link ONR can be infected firmware, thus disallow bridging + become zombie/botnet.
It is possible some user having issue slow speed when using D-Link ONR, also some user cannot bridge...

I try check if 2.5G SFP auto nego is detect via i2c sfp or AsusWRT has own auto nego logic, might clone i2c info just to make 2.5G SFP work flawlessly

thing is HiSGMII is Realtek Proprietary modification of overclocked SGMII, also check 2.5G BaseX supported?

If Asus detect by i2c EEPROM Vendor Name and Vendor Part Number for auto detect, then I would use HUAWEI for it's name just make RT-BE88U happy

like I said, the box is use same hardware as PON Stick,

so, effectively like PON Stick with HiSGMII Ethernet Converter

I also looking for alternative to this RTL based, perhaps looking at EcoNet SoC

For now, 2Gbps and 1Gbps (Ultra Customer) has nice QoS scheduler which 95% bandwidth priority, this what make ultra plan pricey
if fight with Ultra vs non-Ultra, the Ultra will win the bandwidth and favor, that's what TM guy told me

thus, I modifying both NijikaRTL and NijikaWRT to spawn a lot of T-CONT for download and upload


for Download, I will open two T-CONT per ME Point, (Type 47 x 2) [1Gb + 1Gb]

for Upload, little special, I spawn 16 T-CONT from usual 4 or 8, because ALCL, HWTC and ZTEG OLT support Type 249 (Symmetrical GPON, indicate XGSPON card installed but not active yet)

with a lot more T-CONT, can fight bandwidth with non-Ultra

hi,im new to gpon stick, just bought 2 from china taobao, nokia and huawei,and i tried both also show register status is 5/true, mean setting is good, but the OLT show other (), and vlan show empty
,GPON SN/Password/Vendor ID/Model/Software version, all these setting i copy from my tm huawei onu.
