Just received a call from Samsung. My pre-order Fold 5 will be delivered next week.

However, there is a delay in all Fold 5 cases and it will be delivered separately in 4 to 5 weeks maximum. There is a possibility that it may be earlier.

Problem is I won't use my new Fold 5 without any case. Looks like need to source a Spigen Fold 5 case to use temporarily.

If you use the RM 1360 discount voucher in Samsung Members app for Watch Ultra, you pay only RM 2,039

Samsung Members App. You must use this voucher as standalone to buy the watch. If you combine/bundle it with Fold 6, it's more expensive as you can either use this RM1360 voucher or the RM500 voucher. You can't use both.

Initially when I bundled Fold 6 (512 GB) with Watch Ultra, the lowest I could get with vouchers was around RM 10,200-00 (including 2 cases).

Then when I separate it into two orders, the total was around RM9,700-00.

1st order Fold 6 (512 GB) with two cases, total was RM7,687 with RM1,000 discount.

2nd order for Watch Ultra, total was RM 2,039 with RM1,360 discount from Samsung Member App voucher.

Although Samsung states that pre-order delivery will start on 26 July 2024, I believe Samsung will start dispatching them on 24 or 25 July. Just like Fold 4 and Fold 5, I received the pre-order set a day or two earlier than the date stated.

But you need to have a watch to trade-in.

Are you sure Titanium Grey no more stock? I just went to Samsung website and able to add Titanium Grey to Cart and check out.

Samsung Malaysia trade-in value for current model (Fold 5, Flip 5, Watch 6) is very low and not worth it. This is always the case every year. Therefore, for me, I always sell my Fold in Carousell or here when I upgrade my Fold every year.

According to my sources, the pre-order units may be sent out as early as end of this week or latest by next Monday.

DHL will start collecting the parcels from this evening in batches... so, some may start receiving them tomorrow or by Friday.

If you are in Klang Valley, got some chance of getting it today because DHL E-Commerce delivery partners are independent contractors, they are not the regular DHL delivery personnel in uniform or DHL van.

So, some of them may work and deliver today. My guess la.

Anyone having issues with Gmail app in Fold 6? I am not getting any gmail notifications. Have to.open the app to retrieve and view new emails.

What's the benefit of getting e-sim for a watch? 99% of the time, we have our phone with us, so it's connected to watch by BT. Even when I exercise, hike, my phone is with me. The only time when my phone is not with me is when I am in the water in pool or sea. Even inside pool or sea, the phone is still nearby, just not in water

I can live without a watch but not a phone.

What's the deilivery date? There is a delivery date even if under preparing order.
