I'm officially in love. 💖 But camera surprisingly is worse than Mi Mix 2S which is a three year old phone from the era Xiaomi wasn't known for good cameras. Phone makes up for it lots.

Yes looking how it gets thrown off it seems to be software as another picture was fine, while taking PC case grill it wasnt so clear.

Btw. I found that my phone wasnt completely flat when open. I remember that this wasnt a case when I first opened it so I inspected carefully and the top and bottom part was resting on hinge sticker. Without it is completely fine

Just found out samsung pay doesn't work with Alliance Bank 😒 maybe need to open tiger bank since I was really looking forward to using this feature. The phone is amazing still.

Found working GCam and profile. It's quite good for some pictures more details while having more noise. For others Samsung's algorithm for removing noise is actually quite good and I found to prefer it. 🤔

Yesterday collected phone. Today got voucher from DirectD already, now not sure what to do with it already. 🤔

Should I replace Buds Plus to Pro, but my girlfriend doesn't want Buds Plus so might be I opened them too early.

Or buy Buds Pro and sell them or sell voucher directly. Doesn't feel like I'd have much use for a watch I don't really understand the concept too much, but maybe that's because I get too many notifications to handle and only reply when I have time so don't really need it to notify me quickly. 😅

I didn't expect anything special, but how can this camera be so bad. I thought it's just worse than SGS21, not worse than 3 year old Xiaomi.

I think it's time to replace my RX100M1 with something newer since I didn't have need for mirrorless camera in recent years.
This camera means many lost memories.

Another comparison. Outdoor landscape taken from a friends house. Flip 3 Gcam vs Flip 3 Samsung Camera vs Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S.
Gcam definitely captures more accurate pictures compared to Samsung Camera, both are disappointing in their detail compared to another 12MP camera.
Suitable for viewing on phone screen, slightly off on iPad screen, very bad on computer.
You can notice Samsung removed roof tile on the left side as part of its algorithm to mask amount of noise camera produces and the picture is overexposed.
Of these two I prefer Gcam, Lightoom and other mobile apps are good enough at removing noise.

Yes GCam is very good detail. Comparable to what we expect of most not high end camera smartphones these days, but with a lot more noise.
Later I will try denoise algorithm in mobile Lightroom and see how it compares to Xiaomi 🤔
If we are able to remove noise Flip 3 camera might be passable to produce nice picture for when we see something interesting out in the city.
Still a bit disappointed that we have to do that though

Nevertheless I love this phone and I will find way to make it work even if it means I end up buying iPhone 12 Mini to put in back pocket

Flip 3 too, at least mine

Ok I'm in love with my phone. Why does screen really feel like glass. This is amazing. 🥰 And the front camera is so good, love taking selfies with it.
