So this idiot who has never dropped his phone once when using the old Note 9 for 5 years has dropped his Fold 5 a few days ago, with a Ringke Slim case on, so the hinge isn't protected and now has minor scratches, what an eyesore. Not sure if getting Samsung Care+ now would help in this case, any advice?

Are you planning to use the Fold 5 for at least 2 years since you took the 2 years Care+?

I normally upgrade every year, and not sure if the 2 years Care+ is worth it. 

Was thinking to destroy my phone right before the 2 years sc+ expires. But saw the fine print, replace need approval from tune insurance. Is there any chance they will not honor total lost of phones?
Paying rm6xx for a new phone is worth it considering all samsung device lifespan only around 1 year++ then all those lightsabers will start to appear

I remember fold 4 during earliest batch purchase gives extended 1 year warranty..  can the voucher be used from 13th to 24th months ??

Just a piece of good new update.

Was shopping at Midvalley today, and decided to drop by at the Samsung Service Centre at The Garden.

Showed them my complimentary screen protector film voucher and my Fold 3 screen issue.
Immediately the staff took care of the problem and replaced a new film.

So happy with the service, I bought a Samsung Watch 6 from them.

Happy ending.

Anyone has sound issue with your fold? Mine no sound anymore (folded or unfolded). Only way is to use earpiece to hear anything.

Problem started with unfolded only. Also had no visual when unfolded (sometimes). Now, visual problem no more but sound totally gone

ya already sent to SC and claim warranty. Just curious . How much does it cost to repair the screen

Anyone can recommend good selfie or tripod for Fold5?

Some challenges as Fold phone is kind of heavy to hold from selfie or tripod stick. Secondly if to take photo/video with unfold, how this gadget can support which is big size.

Anyone facing issues after updating to ONE UI 6.1?

For context, I'm using a fold 3. After updating, multiple issues popped up:

1. Fold S Pen no longer working properly.

2. Inner screen won't display when folding open from outer display screen. It will just be blank.

3. Clock display colour all changed.

4. When folding open the phone or closing it, speaker will have loud crackling sounds.

Called Sunway Pyramid service center to ask to solve it, they mentioned can only flash in older firmware but chargeable. Told them it was a software problem from Samsungs end they basically said well not my problem.

Called Samsung Official Mobile phone help line, got pretty much the same reply and just to do soft and hard reset, if issue persist go back to service center.

Anyone else had similar experiences with the new update here?

Scamsung Fon the more you update, the more your Fon will spoilt.

My note10+ spen spoiled after updates, strangely other Fon can detect the spen as Bluetooth device but the note10+ refuse to detect it
