I think this is the problem of flip/fold. After used for months or 1 year, the soft screen most likely will start giving problem. That's why care+ 2nd year so important. But sounds like have to pay RM779 extra with PWP 40%. Also when send in for replacement need to pay rm6xx also.

Screen cracked like this under fold line, very troublesome one, the service center will fight hard with you to claim this is not manufacturing defect and must be accidentally break it or fold it too frequent too fast too hard.

Ok. Now I understand the Care+ 2nd Year cost RM1299 so much.

First year free Care+ RM799 only cover for accidental damage only.
(The manufacturing defect by default given by Samsung)
2nd year Care+ RM1299 cover for accidental damage + manufacturing defect.

Instead you need to pay for RM1299, you just need to pay RM729 at SES with PWP 40% discount.

So it is very expensive coverage. Like car insurance.

I just pulled trigger to get Spigen Slim Armor Pro for Fold3. This is the most expensive case in my life.

I have to pick this one because got hinge protection.

Not only change screen, 2nd year the care+ cover MFG defect also.

Rm423 at shoppe... pricey....got some discount.

We cannot get it easily.. only this seller looks reliable to get. Taobao Tmall and Amazon about same price if ship to Malaysia.

I am so surprised t o get know you have to install case first then only dome TG. So in future if you want to remove case, it will not be easy. Right?

Also I read reviews from Amazon that the hinge protector may scratch your hinge. Not sure it is true or not. You have to be careful not to let dust or sand caught inside the hinge protector.

What do you mean enough space when hinge opened? You mean the front cover will move a bit when unfold the phone? What cause the TG lifted? The front cover moving and lift the TG?

I thought it has adhesive can hold the front cover sturdy?

Is the adhesive strong? I heard some said too strong and could not remove it easily. Is that true?

I am still using original SP for outer screen, do you think this case will cause problem?

I tested my fold3 front screen, it does down to 60hz when idle or no movement.

Inner big screen also same, can drop to 60hz.

Really nothing to buy if this is the case.

That is the best original screen protector. Dont remove it if it working good. And only replace it when it spoilt.

Also it compatible with any cases.

funny registration. the care+ take effect based on registered date. So if you wait for last day to register, then you will extend the warranty at least 30 days.

Have to look openly. Even you get the ROI code, and approved from RM300, still have to wait for evoucher. I have been wait for more than 2 weeks... no evoucher sent to me also.

Let me share with you my experience.

- Not so convenience when take out. The front screen smaller and hard to read and see. Quick view is OK.
- Bulky. Overall not so convenience to take out.
- Want to find good case, super expensive. Also most good case come with adhesive.
- Must treat it like baby, even fold and unfold.
- The moment you break screen, pay rm2000 without warrranty ... If care+ .. still need to pay rm600++ for 1 year warranty.
- Screen very big. good to view and read.
- Not all apps compatible with this phone. Like instalgram. You can force it to full screen but wierd ... because some video/photo will be cropped.
- Read comic is good.
- playing game ... some screen get cropped... some dont... depending on the game.

I believe this drop the big screen kena something hard object like big sand... just like your drop on the road.... else it will not kena center of the phone. Normally should be corner edge crack if fragile.

I think eDHL working.. Sunday closed. But sometimes is matter of luck. I notice certain logistic they sub to contractor. And sometimes contractor get the parcel and will keep at their home for many days. Like I purchased 1 item from LZD. Reached to delivery guy at my area. He kept my important parcel 11 days at his home and then only attempt to deliver after 11days ... really stoopid. no contact, the logistic office also phone out of service. I dont LZD why use chap palang courier.

LZD told me they couldnt do anything because parcel at deliver guy hand. gave me rm5 voucher...


eDHL is reliable source. They deliver Samsung to me on Monday ... reached their hub on Saturday morning.

Samsung is confusing their customer. This Care+ is equivalent to "Screen Crack" warranty. In case you crack your screen accidentally, then it covered.

RM 779 for first year. Very expensive. In case screen crack, you need to pay rm600+ for labour charge.

So if you want 2nd year, Care+ and Mfg defect warranty will need to pay rm1299.

I mean the free Care+ only for first year.

If you want Care+ warranty cover for 2nd year, then need to pay RM1299.

For those haven't register for first year care+, you can now walk in to SES to get 40% discount of total RM1299. Means if you pay extra RM729 (60% of RM1299), then you will get care+ and mfg defect warranty cover for 2 years.

This is worth when you want to use phone more than 2 years.

I am afraid will upgrade the phone next year, so I didnt opt for this.

All this about warranty payment only ...


Let say you have 2 yrs care+ covered...... In case screen cracked due to accident.... Then you still have to pay rm600++ for labor charge.

Without care+ ... Let say your screen cracked on month 14th... then you need to replace inner screen, that will charge you rm2k. Not sure if you still need to pay rm600++ labor charge for this case without care+.

Worth only if user want to use for long term more than 1 year. The parts of Fold3 and Flip3 is not cheap. Like S21 Ultra, you may only need to spend rm1k to replace the faulty screen. But for Fold3/Flip3, you need to spend rm2.6k which is extremely expensive. Considering the Fold3/Flip3 flex screen still immature.

Maybe Fold1 or Fold2 user can tell if really worth to get extended warranty.
