This is provided we have accumulated enough LazBonus.

In this case, the actual price is still RM 6299.00. Unless you have a few hundreds worth of LazBonus, we can not get the price to 5469.00. I only have RM 1xx of LazBonus.

I think it is more of a click bait in this respect. Generally prices for Fold 5 is still above RM 6k.

I am using this case. I guess the same batch from Spigen Malaysia coz it is just being shown as available recently.

It is a STRONG case and adds better grip overall to the flip 5. The kick stand can be pretty useful sometimes and doesn't add much to the bulk. It is a bit soft to the touch, and I mean it in a good way. It is not like those hard plastic casings.

Now I am contemplating sticking the magsafe metal ring to it as I am worried that the glue may leave unsightful marks on the case if I were to remove it next time.

Hi, sharing my observations.
for Question 1, I gets notifications on my watch. Maybe you can check if you have turned off the "Show notifications" and "Turn on screen for notifications" in Setting - Cover Screen.

Question 2: I can receive whatsapp call on cover screen.

Please check on Notification setting for Whatsapp. And also Setting - Advanced Features - Motions and gestures : Mute with gestures. You can try to turn it off.

Unfortunately using foldable does have its disadvantages. Repairing it outside of samsung service center may not be recommended. I don't have any experience on this. Hope others can share their experience of servicing foldable at 3rd party service center.

If foldable serve your requirement well, it is worth every penny. It is the experience that counts. Samsung has improved its durability with each generations.

If it has been of older fold series, I don't think it is worth it to repair. Get a new one. Fold 5 is being sold at great discounts now. Many used fold 4 are being sold at attractive pricing too.

actually foldables are for a specified group of users who have needs for a hybrid device. for more durable solution, it is better to go with candy bar phone and a tablet. At the moment, there is no super durable foldables. It is getting more durable by the year, but still not at the same level as any candy bar phones. maybe s23u is a better solution for you.

I've a colleague who liked to show off his skill of opening flip 3 with a single flip action. Dropped multiple times but it did survived. But eventually the hinge mechanism gave way and failed. It was about 14 to 15 months. He switched to s23 and happy with it. I guess he is not suited for foldables.

I've a simple spigen case for fold5. I've never dropped any of my laptop over the years. Hope my luck can continue......

I'm using the magsafe ring on f5. Car stand, and special ring to hold the phone securely. It is a great addition.

For casing, you can try the ones from Araree. It doesn't required double sided tape to keep the phone inside the case. Ad there is one with Magsafe. Works pretty well as the magnet is very strong.

a wider screen maybe able to accommodate a s Pen silo. No need for a case to hold the s Pen.

At 3,500, it is a great price.

Fold 4 and 5 are quite similar in day to day use. The main advantage is the gap when the phone is closed.
