so the current price for a 40 GB ps3 is around RM 1300? anyone here using it with a samsung 206BW 20 inch monitor? can it support 16:10 resolution?

after a good year saving up, I FINALLY booked one unit tonight, hopefully all goes well tomorrow when I come to pick it up
 Time flies! I can still remember the day I refreshed my webpage to read the live coverage of the ps3 unveling by sony in E3. Here's a late  to the Playstation 3, and a great 2008 with Metal Gear Solid 4 and 5, LittleBigPlanet, God Of War 4, Final Fantasy 14 and many other great titles to come. 1.3k is quite reasonable since that's the price of a high end graphic card on pc now. All I can advice is keep saving up, take opportunity to do odd jobs, make financial sacrifices here and there. Stop buying magazines and read them online, cut down on shopping mall outings or movies, little things like that goes a long way and you'll be surprised how much u can save. Oh and try quit smoking if u do, smoking is a real money sink.

one thing I experienced first hand with sg. wang shops is that they charge prices according to your appearance. The dude which sold me psp charged me RM 650, but while he was wrapping my unit, a foreigner came and asked for the price, he replied RM 750 without blinking.
Even though I got the price for RM 650, he tried very hard to make me buy other stuff as well until it got annoying. |

they just giving out false hope lol. if they ever are going to launch maybe next year or in the final quarter of this fiscal year. Don't expect it to be cheap. PSN card also not yet out.
One of the core components of the Playstation 3 is the online component.If they intend to sell in malaysia they would have to make a malaysian Playstation Network Online Store or at the very least make singapore able to accept malaysian ringgit as payment. If sony were selling it here officially right now, I want to hear their explanation for not having malaysian PSN online store and no malaysian PSN ID account. That is a core component of the PS3 and we should have it if they were to sell here officially.
