my friend wanted to buy a ps3 60gb ntsc u/c region console. this is because most of the game he has is of the US version. he was asking if any adapter is needed to play it in Malaysia. so any help or comment on this matter? oh yeah, and how much does one hdmi to dvi cable cost now?

sorry for not making myself clear, i actually referring to bc to play ps2 game...so sorry...anyway, any shop selling the US version console here? for the 60gb or 80gb version that is

yeah...that what i been telling my friend.just stick to the ps2 instead of depending on bc of the ps3..but u know, some guys got thick head...very keras kepala dontr want to listen to anybody...very pening one

ps3 as to date, is a great machine without known prob, well the main hindrance is it can only play original games right now.
xbox360 also a great machine, but each machine will have or got higher chances to get the dreadful 3ROD if unmodded, if got 3ROD you can claim warranty for it as M$uck will cover it with its 3 year warranty plan. But it you mod you system, your 3ROD warranty will become void as well, so it is quite useless.
Either way, PS3 is really a worthy console to have for its features and reliability I sold mine but will getting a new set. Well, hoping to get the US 80Gb MGS4 bundle once it is released

eh? i said both modded and unmodded x box 360 are prone getting 3rod, but getting the unmodded one is better since it is covered by the 3 years warranty. (just want to clear it up bro) to me, xbox 360 is still a great gaming machine. But being a big fan of PS from the 1st gen, my heart is all out for Sony console just being hopeful that more and more great games will be out for PS3. I asked Bernard already to try to get me a US PS3 80gb MGS4 bundle. hoping to get good news from him soon
