hi ps3 gurus....

just wanna ask whats the current price for a PS3 60GB set now?

i'm in japan right now, just walked into takashimaya dept store and saw 60GB PS3 going for rm2k. just wondering whats the price diff with mallaysia for a Japan PS3?

how about warranty? how long from shops in KL? and oh yeah, the warranty given by the shops in KL is just from the local shop? not officialy from sony right? i wonder if sony malaysia will cover warranty if i buy from japan.

and sorry for the noob question, but are the games still region locked like PS2? meaning i cant play US/EU games on the Japan PS3? or its region free now??

and oh ya, if anyone wants any new games direct from japan, i can buy them here. but not too many ya, incase i get caught at customs. but only problem is i wont buy unless u bank the money in my account first, which most ppl wont anyways. oh well

so now its cheaper than here la. nav mind, going to walk around akihabara to see if can get cheaper than 1.5k!!!

ok, just got back from japan. i cheapest i got for a PS3 was around 1.5k. for the bundled set with the golf game was closer to 1.9/2.0k.

so since m'sia price is not far away, tot might as well get here. at least can burn the shop if the console spoil

i also saw nintendo Wii for rm800. was tempted to get, but then ps3 kept overiding. eheheh.

PS3 was quoted for rm2.7k
Wii was RM1.3k for Japan set, 1.7k for US set.

shit...if i knew, i would have gotten it in Japan instead. where u guys bought the PS3 for 1.5k?

hi....just wondering if its better to get from a local shop or from singapore? i'm going down to sing, and wont mind getting from sing, but just worried about the warranty part.

if buy local, the warranty at least from the shop. but price difference quite a bit. any known problems with PS3? like 3ROD?
