Wah you got so many PS2 original games to play on PS3?

From what I read 60GB PS3 got BC with PS2 through hardware but quality not too good. On the other hand 80GB PS3 got software emulation compatibility, slightly better graphics quality, but not all games compatible.

I know it's been said many ties before, but I need to say it again. You really shouldn't play PS2 games on a PS3 . Get a 40GB instead and start afresh.

You are mixing up sixaxis with DS3 is it?

Haha maybe he reverse and told you the Original is fake and the fake is original so that you end up buying the fake

Possible that some don't want the sixaxis controller. So with the savings they can buy the DS3 controller instead.

Nowadays got a lot of imitation sixaxis controllers. Make sure you get an original one . But probably most of us won't know how to tell the difference .

That's why Sony Malaysia management brainless. They will probably only launch the PS3 when everyone already bought their sets from S'pore. They only know how to pick up the crumbs

If buy from S'pore at least can claim warranty from S'pore if any problems. I don't think anyone selling sets from US or Japan locally. Anyway if you only play PS3 games, no problems because PS3 games got no region coding. Any games from any region can play on any set from any region.

If you want to play Blu-ray movies, also very little problems because USA, S.E.A, Japan, HK etc. all under same region i.e Region A.

If want to play normal original DVD movie, then must follow back the standard DVD region coding now in existence. .e Region 1 (USA...), Region 3 (S.E.A...) etc. (*Ahem* DVD movie of course can play on any set because region coding removed already).

If want to play back PS2 games (original games) on PS3 (60GB and 80GB models only) , then must follow the old DVD region coding. (Note.. 40GB model cannot play any PS2 games)

If want to play *ahem* PS2 DVD games on any PS3 model, forget it
