QUOTE(dattebayo @ Mar 7 2008, 10:42 PM) strange... look at here, the forthcoming event calendar, they never state PS3 at all. This year maybe still no PS3 in Sony-MY? Maybe still in pending. If they got, i don't noe how long of a line do they need for us to line up on. http://www.sony.com.my/article/240590/sect...site=hp_en_MY_i |

Hurm, Singapore is having inflation. Prices are zooming up, and so would the SG PS3 set. And we were hoping very much that the prices of the console.
Guess again. I predict the prices for PS3, should remain stable until at least next year. If the recession at US leaves them high and dry, no price cuts til 2010. Just please pray there's no price increase. For any consoles. |

QUOTE(fizyboy @ May 20 2008, 04:08 PM) but the whole idea of him getting the ps3 is to play GTA IV.. he said he only wants that game this year and nothing else. U'll want to give him Uncharted. And at this point, you should really influence his parents to understand this info also. Lots of parents are ignoring the game contents, and they just see from what they see and they immediately judge from there. I'm never letting my kids get to that kind of state.I thought San Andreas wasn't that bad, and i let him watch me play (and apparently he really liked it).. there's not much sex scene shown if i remember correctly.. only the occasional foul words used but he wouldn't understand them anyway. But from what you guys wrote, i guess GTA IV is totally not OK for him... Hmm.. he doesn't like Guitar Hero man, he only plays adventure / platform games. Any similar games like gta / ratchet n clank on ps3 to recommend? |

Actually, i agree with supervising. So lets mop this up once and for all.
there is no harm to get the kid GTA 4, that is if there is someone there to help him understand what's going on and what you should do. If you think about it, GTA 4 does teach good qualities. U just gotta look deep and put aside the negative things in the game. (Like caring for someone.) |

With economic recession in the US, I dun think the PS3 would get a cut there anytime soon.
But if it follows the Sg set, maybe not so either, since they've just increased it a few days ago. Dang, sad state of affairs we're having here. |
