Yup, best advice, there will be some wear and tear parts to be change, but nothing to get an extra credit card for.

teh hek wanna consider a 2011 car, and a friggin Passat summore?

At least consider the B8 Passat laa -- 2 to 3-yr old at max.

The 2.0L version is no joke, you will never settle for any slower car after this

I own a 2.0 and used to own a 1.8. Nothing happened to my car.

The 2.0 has no problems at all. The people who say otherwise have never own it but just listened to rumors.

Bro...u buy 8 year old conti....it's good because it's definitely cheaper. Owner already absorb all the hit.

But jokes aside ....if breakdown ...one time give u parang. I would look elsewhere if reliability is your priority. If fun is..then go for it.

Remind me of my dad alfasud. He loved it so much....fan spoil...engine overheated.....etc . I remember we family in the car ...and it was raining...one liter bottle finish...he had to collect rain water because whole family stuck middle of nowhere......sweet memories

2nd hand passat resale value is super low. which actually makes it a interesting option. its equivalent to a camry or accord. depends on your luck whether it requires much maintenance.
