We’ve released a new version of the @foldingathome software (v7.6.13) that fixes issues reported with GPU utilization. You will likely get a warning when you try to install on @Windows, and we are working with @Microsoft to resolve this. Please upgrade at https://foldingathome.org/start-folding/

Folding@home client has been updated to v7.6.13, download is available at their official site: [START FOLDING]

Quick question if this works for you? https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/use...php?s=&u=534022
And if you're using TM ISP

It seems pages can't load over TM. If I used TIME then the site loads fine
*
Yes, using TM, the site can’t be reached. sweat.gif

How many of us here folding 24h?

Currently my rig folding 24h..CPU running at 70'c and GPU running 70-80'c..i know running like this definitely will shorten the lifespan of the hardware..but am i pushing their limit?

Do you guys rest your rig?

Share some ideas..
*
I didn't fold 24h. Normally I will turn off PC when I'm not at home. The temperature seems typical on load temperature. If can let them run at 60-70'c would be great.

I am sad, no Nvidia GPU to contribute, or any real discrete GPU

Have to rely Google Colab to spawn 5 instance * 2 CPUs (refresh every 12h)

+ 1 Android phone * 2 CPUs

running BOINC / WCG / Rosetta@home currently

You may build a PC with NVIDIA card. thumbsup.gif

What is the progress of this project so far? Are the vaccines that we will be receiving the result of this project?

For the former, you might want to follow these a few link for their update: icon_rolleyes.gif

For the latter, it might not be the case, since there are plenty of medical researcher around the globe are developing the vaccines. And their research data might or might not get from Folding@home. hmm.gif

now close again already... electrical bill high wor...

before this doing mining...

now just mining using my laptop only...enough lor 500k plus daily...

before this i use to see stat from extremeoverclocking... now it seem that tm blocking their IP or what? need vpn or open using telco then can see their website...
*
No doubt the electricity bill will be higher. But it is better to fold with a higher PPD card than multiple lower PPD card.
For example, fold with a single RTX 3080 (320W, 6M PPD) is better than 6x RTX 1080 (total of 1080W, 6M PPD).
Both configuration can output around 6M PPD, but a single RTX 3080 has significantly lower power draw.
So for better efficiency, it is better to get something like RTX 3070 or above, or even the new RTX 4080/4090.

https://folding.lar.systems/
Here is a PPD database if you are interested.

About the extremeoverclocking statistics site, ya, I noticed it as well, not sure what's going on.
So I just used proxysite or other telco to view it. sweat.gif

I think I will give up on World Community Grid and move to FAH. The new owner of WCG really sucks at maintaing infrastructure and minimizing downtime. I doubt my contribution will ever follow through.

Will look into convert my phone from running for WCG to running for FAH. CPU only. Edit: nvm, impossible to finish on time, projected 9.96 days to complete when deadline is 7 days...

Welcome to Folding@home community. I think a computer is more preferable to handle these tasks. biggrin.gif
