For the latter, it might not be the case, since there are plenty of medical researcher around the globe are developing the vaccines. And their research data might or might not get from Folding@home.

long time not folding due to crypto mining.. just starting back the folding engine...

expected current mining setup can get up to 3.5 milion ppd...

still bring back my university name....

Nice setup you have there, the output previously is quite strong, keep it up.

before this doing mining...

now just mining using my laptop only...enough lor 500k plus daily...

before this i use to see stat from extremeoverclocking... now it seem that tm blocking their IP or what? need vpn or open using telco then can see their website...

No doubt the electricity bill will be higher. But it is better to fold with a higher PPD card than multiple lower PPD card.
For example, fold with a single RTX 3080 (320W, 6M PPD) is better than 6x RTX 1080 (total of 1080W, 6M PPD).
Both configuration can output around 6M PPD, but a single RTX 3080 has significantly lower power draw.
So for better efficiency, it is better to get something like RTX 3070 or above, or even the new RTX 4080/4090.

About the extremeoverclocking statistics site, ya, I noticed it as well, not sure what's going on.
So I just used proxysite or other telco to view it.

yup newest card giving high ppd....

i think about extremeoverclocking maybe can ask TM why cannot access.(weird at my office using gitn(under TM) can access w/o issues)

I think I will give up on World Community Grid and move to FAH. The new owner of WCG really sucks at maintaing infrastructure and minimizing downtime. I doubt my contribution will ever follow through.



Will look into convert my phone from running for WCG to running for FAH. CPU only. Edit: nvm, impossible to finish on time, projected 9.96 days to complete when deadline is 7 days...

Welcome to Folding@home community. I think a computer is more preferable to handle these tasks.
