Well, if it's not on purpose then I think you don't have anything to worry about! Regarding actions taken, it all depends on the company. Some companies are ok with tardiness, but of course, they probably expect the employee to "pay back time" and work slightly later etc.- 30 mins/ 1 hour/ 2 hours?
