mm... palm protector does sound a little overpriced.. what kind of protection does the palm protector offer? scratch prevention or thermal barrier (when hdd or system gets hot you wont feel it)?

this is dell's mistake. even if u call them they will just tell u they are sorry and in the terms and conditions has been stated that dell reserve the right to bla bla bla..

they should get the facts right before making such ad.

Guys about Dell's comeplete cover, it only covers Asia Pacific (Australia included). A sales rep i talked to previously before asked me where i was going to study and i said UK, then he said better to get the normal 3 year warranty because complete cover doesn't cover in UK.

why are we getting mixed response from dell (again)?

right.. thanks for the info bro. blush.gif so is there any way we can get complete cover for international? sending it back to msia for warranty is one way, any other suggestions?

just added you! welcome dude!

Added on February 1, 2008, 5:15 amwell, the secret is actually not secret. you know it too. you can overclock your spanking new 8600M GT to 600MHz core and 500MHz memory. preceed with caution when you exceed those speeds. can boost your graphics vista WEI too. but nothing really much can be done about the crappy 4.8 RAM.

great shots. i have actually dismantle my laptop lots and lots of times, can practically do it blind folded. 1520 is built like a tank, so it should be very safe even for the faint hearted. i then took the liberty to replace the thermal compound with Artic Cooling MX-2 on the T7500, 965 chipset and 8600M GT chip. also, i noticed the laptop's heatsink and fan get clogged with dust real quick. so you guys better watch out for overheating issues. and best of all, it's really fun. smile.gif cheers
