For all the flak I gave my Note 10+, I still easily recommend it over the S20+. I really can't see any value for money in the S20 range this round (unless of course if you were amongst the early birds that got a free TV).

Plus you "somewhat" need the S-Pen. There's none of that for the S20!

If u need pen is a no brainer.

I think the major reason for s20 is the 120hz.

Damn the refresh rate really make ur experience better.

Other than that they are almost same..

Also, for 3999, you'll be getting 8GB/128GB on the S20+.

The Note 10+ gives you 12GB/256GB. I'll take more memory and double the storage for lesser over 120hz refresh rate any day!

My s8 already got the latest update but not my note 10 plus. Sad

I tried buying cheap tempered glass.

The quality of the edges not quite perfect, it appears wavy

Using tmax right now. Fingerprint feels the same imho

I didn't even bother with the cheap one

I don't think i can fix it nicely if the edges are wavy

I broke one tmax tempered glass after using it for 2 weeks

Currently using my second one now, has been more than 7 months

Did diy and i think fixing it without the guide applicator is actually better

Also used power sunlight instead of those little uv lamps for instant curing

Just broke another and fixed a new one today. I think my case is very close to the tempered glass, so any low level fall would indent the edges the case close enough to break it.

There is less than 0.5mm on any side

Also, use a high power flashlight to see any dust so you can stick it up with the sticker

Still, can't live without tempered glass because i think the environment I'm in is too sandy or something.

Guys just today i noticed my screen has a dead pixel

The top right edge appears lifted up

Sent to service center, they said it's because of the loca glue ingress used in tempered glass, then it damage the lcd screen as well

To replace the screen is rm1000 for note 10 plus

Lucky thing under the extended warranty (marsh), so can use that to change the screen

They also changed the battery

Somebody posted this issue before

So because of this i can't recommend the loca tempered glass anymore

Side note: they also mentioned the tempered glass has this smell. The smell is acetone, fruity smell. Used in finger polish. The screen actually looked like it was dissolved from within instead of ingress to me

wont cause dead pixel but maybe the loca glue flow into the device .
i not sure i see ppl install wrong say the power button or volume button dropped out or smth

what i meant was, they see loca glue in the device . they will try to push away the warranty.

example if ur water damage indicator shows water damage, even if its not related to water. they will push away saying is water damage.

thats how warranty goes

The edge with the dead pixels looks like lifted up or eaten off.

So i guess the smudge of dead pixels is attributed to the loca glue

But he did get his phone repaired with warranty. I'm going to replace mine in August even though mine is still fine with only small scratches

The sc seems pretty chill about executing the claim for any screen related reason however trivial

I actually tested S6 lite, Tab A with spen, then the Tab A without.

u can actually see big difference between the lite even to the Tab A with S pen.

Guess its changing now for Android Tablet. Its getting better, and with Netflix integration its just nice for the money. ofcoz, if u take out the Spen in the S series... would people still buy it then? i doubt so 

My FIL very old. almost 90. he started with tablet at first. but after some years, he already get used to the cheap android phones. so i guess it takes time?
