If anyone is looking for a case friendly plastic screen protector for the Note 10, I recommend this brand. Just bought it and should fit all my cases. Only annoying thing is that there's a cutout for the camera at the front.
The picture shows a case because the screen protector can be bundled with the case, I think that's more worth it than buying just the screen protector ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Luffy1234: Aug 13 2020, 07:41 PM |

Samsung Malaysia dont even care about the Note 10. I asked them how much Note 10 Plus trade in, RM 1800 only. Less than half for a phone that's not even 1 year old

QUOTE(yang90 @ Aug 17 2020, 06:46 PM) My phone screen suddenly dead pixel and discoloration (on top). Does this defect covered by warranty? I got 1+1 screen protection warranty. From my Note 8 experience, they will always replace dead pixels or burnout for screen. Don't need to claim the screen replacement warranty, just regular warranty. But take off the screen protector first before you go to SC |

QUOTE(sakuraboo @ Aug 18 2020, 10:53 AM) Pretty cool phone tho Wait, you mean you use acetone to remove the uv glue?Need to get rid of any glue residue or smell otherwise they will claim uv glue cause the issue, at least for my case That's what the sc said, but it's reasonable imho because the screen have a few parts put together by glue iinm, and the solvent (acetone) for the uv glue is the one damaging the other on screen glue They will change the battery also. So for those who use naked without protector is a very good deal, just change close to expiry get new battery |

So the international Exynos version of Note 20 Ultra extra does not have copper cooling. I wonder if the Malaysian Note 20 Ultra have copper cooling. It would really suck if it didn't. |

QUOTE(sakuraboo @ Aug 29 2020, 11:15 PM) You should read the comments for further clarification I think it's not just about the temperature. Maybe someone can say they dont game as much, therefore the phone doesn't heat up, fine. Apparently it's random between both Snapdragon and also exynos However it was also reported that the temperature is the same in both However why is the price the same between those that have, and those that dont. Not just that, the fact that their marketing does not clearly mention the different variations that could exist between the variants, means that people could easily be deceived. In fact, based on YouTube comments, seems like it there could be many variants that dont have the copper heatsink. If Apple charged a RM 5300 phone but uses different internals without disclosing, for sure people get mad, and I see no reason why this should be different. |

QUOTE(sakuraboo @ Aug 30 2020, 05:05 AM) I think they have supply issues I agree. The way they're treating the phones and the customers are very different since S20 onwards. And the worst thing about Exynos is the cell reception. I think standby time is objectively worse compared to Exynos. I have an original Google Pixel, and it still has a better standby time than the Note 10. To me it doesn't matter that much as long as the end point is the same. If the temperature at max load is the same, then i don't mind it. Haven't seen a test that compares both. That said, issues like Snapdragon vs exynos is an issue for me because it's not the same result. But i completely agree with what you said though. It's not cool at all to have different parts in the same model. Because there are likely unforeseen performance impact. Heck they might even use different antenna models on the exynos phones, that's why some exynos models suck so much at signal strength, while others seem completely fine. Ever since they took away the headphone jack, I've been really skeptical of Samsung. They were ok, but they gone douche particularly with s20 onwards And the way they're treating even the copper heatpipes as very quietly, makes it seem like Samsung is going worse about it |

Does anyone here use Sony WF-1000XM3 with their Note 10? I've been using the earphones for a couple of days and it will randomly have a half second cut offs. Sometimes very often, sometimes very rare. It's really really annoying me.
I've read reddits where similar Note 10 users experienced the same using these earphones. I'm wondering if anyone in here uses the earphones or any other truly wireless earphones and have the same experience. I've already sent mine to Sony but they only did a reset because they couldn't replicate my problem. I want to push for a replacement but if it's a Note 10 problem, it would just be a waste of time. If anyone have the same experience and can share that would be great. ![]() |

QUOTE(fuzzy007 @ Aug 30 2020, 07:51 PM) i am using tis with my note 10+ , sometimes will have cut off randomly, might be due to crowded wireless connection in my office but very rare Yeah I already have that set. I reset a few times, changed Bluetooth settings in the developer options, tried tweaking with the app, but still the same. there is a setting to focus on connection if having issue on randomly cut off in the apps How often do you get the random cut offs? |

QUOTE(sakuraboo @ Aug 30 2020, 11:45 PM) Nope. While the app is on the screen, while the app is in the background, it's just so random. Sometimes once in 3 hours, sometimes 5 times in 10 minutes. I cant figure out any common things about it. Dont know if it's just the Note 10 or the earphones themselves. Reading Reddit makes me think it might just be the Note 10, but that's just odd |

QUOTE(sakuraboo @ Sep 2 2020, 07:44 PM) Hey that's a bargain imho So true. But I think the Z Fold 2 is the most exciting phone this year. My next phone definitely will be the Z Fold line. Save money + wait for super super super sale + trade in 😂I think i will continue using this phone for a very long time Because I'm just lazy to change phones. Changing phones not as exciting as other stuff nowadays. Won't mind that price at all in few years time |

The Z Fold 2 is in my opinion way better priced than the Note 20 line in Malaysia 😅 RM 7999, even cheaper than last year's model & it's the Snapdragon 865+. Actually quite tempting 🤔 |

QUOTE(sakuraboo @ Sep 10 2020, 03:00 PM) No spen True. But I bet spen will be either come in Fold 4 or Fold 5, not anytime soon. For some the signal issue is 100% deal breaker Especially if previous phone signal was perfectly fine But in terms of pricing, Fold 2 makes much more sense than paying RM 5k++ for Note 20 Ultra for me. |
