Finally broke my Tmax tempered glass. Now i find the fingerprint scanner very nice to use without the TG, 100% success.
Previously with the TG, more than half the time wont pass, even though i tried registering many times, including some methods shared by Youtubers and fellows here.
raw [no protector] is always the best, i used my S9 b4 without screen protector, oleophobic coating came off after few months though
Now thinking back there were some new notifications that never seen before when accepting the phone mentioning about completing something - i was busy with getting on with work so i just swiped them off without much thinking. and the glass back is also a different - there were some specific scratch marks in the previous phone seemingly lost
And the weight suddenly feels lighter, the same feeling i get when i got it new. Maybe the old one soaked with glue.
And they somehow perfectly applied the oleophobic plastic screen protector on both front and even the back.
The spen is the same tho
Issue is if they really cloned the data from one phone to the other, i really hope they deleted the previous phone data.
they wont clone your phone, cos they will maintain your imei, imo editing imei is illegal, even for service centres
They also changed the battery, they said they will claim the claimable marsh warranty
But the cool part is, the capacity between the new and old seems the same. Which is a good thing
Back then with older phones after close to a year can feel the battery lose 25% of its capacity
older phones less battery capacity ie.. 2xxx mAh. thus u charge twice a day, hence battery degrades faster, and previous android os cant kill those pesky apps running in the background

True. Will do that once i confirm buying. Still waiting for note 20 and weigh the pros and cons. Good to know that snapdragon note10 works well in malaysia so the option is there.
Sorry for the double post. Cant seem to find the edit button on my phone.
How long does it take to repair? If possible i dont want to leave my phone overnight. I dont have extra phone
charging port flex is separate from board, replacement just replace the port, should be same time as replace lcd [2 hours] as reported by previous ppl in the thread
Hi everyone. New user here just check in. My note 8 has touch sensor problem. The cost to replace the lcd is same as getting another used note 8 phone. So, I decided to buy the cheapest used note 10+. The cheapest I found is the snapdragon version that i bought at rm2695 but I was not able to get my favourite color though . Anyway, it's nice to be able to join you all.
the note 8 still can be used, connect otg mouse/keyboard
