Now it seems it performed really well on WiFi.
Last few days I can get 8+ hrs of SOT on WiFi only.
But on mobile data, it is on a whole different story.

I haven't charge my phone in two days and I calculate the SOT from the previous day until the next day.
More than 8 hrs SOT which is a lot of improvement for me.
BTW I formatted the phone after updating to One UI 2.1.
Maybe it is more optimised than before.

I always format my phone after a big major update, so that my phone perform well always.
It has been a must for me since I use Note 2.

Maybe your TikTok app, my TikTok Play Store app quite good in battery consumption.

Or maybe the update got stuck?
Because I never kena, it popped up for a few seconds and it is gone.

I never change the keyboard since the Note 3.
Samsung all the way.
But this time I like the new keyboard, cleaner than before.

Finally after one week my battery is fully optimised.
8 hour SOT the whole day.
Unplugged at 8 am today.
A few hours on data 4G+.

Now left with 14% battery.
The new update is just so good on battery consumption.

It seems Samsung did fix some battery issues in the last firmware.
Now I am fully satisfied with the battery.

Maybe they keep reading the forum about how suck Exynos is in terms of battery life.
Now with S20 Ultra fiasco, maybe they will take a careful step after this.

Same as me!
I lost around that percentage even with low 4G signal and connected to WiFi.
Maybe next time if want to buy a Samsung, better opt for the Note series.
Have been a Note user since the 2, never disappoint me much.
The S series heard so much problem so far.

Did you try to format the phone?
Since 2.1 is a major update, maybe there is some issues during update that need a complete format?
I also using data, no issues so far.
Or if don't want to format, maybe wait for next update.
Samsung already released it in Netherlands, it is said to fix modem problem for Note 10.

Based on The Verge news, S, Note and Z series they will commit at least 3 generations of Android OS.
It all begins with our Note10 series, S10 series and above.
Since our first OS is Android 10, that means we will get Android 11 and 12 with One UI 3 and 4 in the future.
Well that is the most exciting news overall for me.
