You're right. Dunno which idiot thought up the ACxxxx numbers as the sum of both 5 & 2.4Ghz max link speeds. So AC1200 is about 866Mbps for 5GHz and 300Mbps for 2.4Ghz. A nice big number for marketing to fool some people.
