I'm finding places where I can get Alaskan King Crab as part of the buffet?

budget around 120-130 per person if possible. Shangri La is 238 per person. Hope /k can recommend some other places.

If you want alaskan king crab, only lemon garden and pullman got. The taste of the crab in lemon garden is too salty for my taste (maybe they put in salt water), but they restock quite often and presentation looks good. Pullman's crab tastes much better to me (naturally sweet), but doesn't restock that often, size not as big as lemon garden, and presentation not as nice. Sheraton does not have alaskan king crab, only got mud crab.

Lemon garden and sheraton got lobster, but not pullman. Lemon garden's got boston lobster, but again its salty like the crab. Sheraton's got slipper lobster.

I see in fave, 150 Sheraton offering Alaskan king crab.

also i don't think they are alaskan crab, just spider crabs

which if you want spider crab, lot 10 isetan can cook for you for about less than 40 bucks in a soup a bowl

I tried Alaskan crab before. nothing special but my GF wanted to try them so might as well go for a buffet for her to try all stuffs like lobsters and etcs. For the price of 236x2 (472), I might as well book a Chinese restaurant set for 2.

Im mot sure about chinese restaurant prices, iirc they were about 500-600 per crab, but if you do have some cheaper choices do let me know.

The problem with spider crabs in Malaysia is that its frozen, so you get that frozen seafood taste, then they boil it in salt water or something. The fresh ones are really good, which i think chinese restaurants might be a better choice as it comes from a tank.

wow, just had this last saturday. i came early at 6:30PM, i can say best seafood buffet i've ever had, i wish they had grilled option for the lobster etc. but nonetheless, the king crab was damnn sweet, felt like they soak it in air gula or something. but yeah, it was full house on that day. oh ya, i didn't pay, it was company lucky draw.

no la. I mean those set dinner for 2. course meals.

so far I been to FeiFeiCrab. 170ish per pair. fresh and nice.

I think its normal. but I don't like buffet cuz all they do is just boil/steam and chill it. unlike Chinese restaurants.

Normally I would avoid buffets. Can get a very nice meal for the same price. the only advantage is variety. and that's what I wanna offer to my gf

last time i tried the mud crab feel like frozen crab instead of live crab. big deteriorate to the taste

plenty tbh. one of my favourite would be south sea near subang airport also ate empurau twice there since they have live ones

Plenty of seafood there but I didn't even try 'em.

I remember seeing one big octopus ready to be served. The waiter was chopping into small pieces for everyone.

alaskan crab normally they cook it by salt water then only deep freeze it, when wanna serve then only take out.

For me i prefer mud crab, 2 persons can easily order few crab already

i was wondering why I cannot remember those lobster/crab details in those places.

Ok la, spider crab whole ekor about that price, I think snow crab is a little cheaper. Haven’t ate snow crab for a couple of years.

Usually ask the captain to cut it to half and cook two diff sauce per crab
