Chelsea getting knocked out of the CL is for the best.
This squad isn't ready to compete at the highest level and this needs to be a massive wake up call. Focus on a top 4 finish and use this summer to get this squad back to where it needs to be. |

all of our centre back not good enough. Rudiger is a liability. AC too soft. we badly need reinforcement in centre back.
too many deadwood in this team. hopefully marina and cech realized that we need to spend next season with quality players. tammy need competition for striker. how many times this season he miss run in the box when winger deliver such a good cross. pity for kovacic. the only silver lining in this game |

To be frank and fair tho, this is still first season for Lampard, and for all the players to actually familiarize themselves with the new gameplay and tactic demanded by the gaffer.
With injuries piling up, it’s no surprise that we lost this match. Heck, I was even shocked we are still level during half time just now. The turning point of the match was the Jorginho outburst for me. The whole team loses its focus (or being too hyped so much that focus went out of control 😂) from that incident, and Bayern capitalizes from that. Starting from there, we never looked really in the game. I pity Caballero, all the saves that he made just become a waste. Our front three also never looked really in sync throughout the match imo |

The loss is inevitable but to lose 3 nil at home is a disgrace.

My conclusion after watching the game
Our midfield is weak Our teamwork is average at best And the whole team is full of average player If to compare with bayern la. If to compare side by side we lose every department. Bayern press was amazing, can say team press. Our team press individually, (mount) and the other have no intensity to press. And their passes are top notch. Attacking wise too. |

QUOTE(gry @ Feb 26 2020, 05:56 AM) Chelsea getting knocked out of the CL is for the best. ya... me didn't bother watching this morning game. There is very very slim chance to get even a draw against Bayern at home, let alone next leg. This squad isn't ready to compete at the highest level and this needs to be a massive wake up call. Focus on a top 4 finish and use this summer to get this squad back to where it needs to be. We just don't have the experience, players and tactical to matched them in every department. the faster we drop out CL, the better to concentrated on top 4 or now top 5. |

Guess our only saving grace is we somehow managed to keep a cleansheet in the first half. Damn it would totally suck to have 7 goals put past us like what happened with spurs. I don't think our team with such a young core of players would survive something like that, we'd probably lose all confidence and drop out of the top four race within a couple of weeks.
Bayern are a formidable team and I don't think anyone would want to face them in the next round. The pace, movement and speed of thought of their players were leagues ahead of us, and the gulf in class was a bit embarrassing to be honest. The 2 occasions where we really looked threatening was when mount broke through on goal during a counter, but I swear he looks like a deer caught in headlights whenever he's bearing down on the keeper. Practically zero confidence whenever a chance drops to him these days, such a far cry from his early season form. Energetic pressing is the only reason he's starting, and when ruben's fully fit I expect him take over his place in the team. Let's just regroup and hope RLC and at least cho are back with us so we can give them a bit of a fight at the alliance arena. In the meantime bournemouth are next. |

Not surprise of the result.....i had some hope before the match.....but its the hope that kill you.
Those who watch the match knows how far chelsea have fallen from the elite level. Chelsea have too many average players , physically weak , mentally weak , and slow af in everything....lacking in everything. Chelsea Board is a fault for this assembe of this weak squad since 2015.....we been buying rubbish players and at the end this what we get. Chelsea is at least 4 or 5 years away from " just " competing on the elite level. Provided if chelsea even buy the right players. Are the chelsea board going give lampard that 4 or 5 years ? i not sure....hopefully they back him....cause whatever other manager come in...they will fail with this rubbish squad. Better focus on the top 4....we need to get it so that we can buy players that will bring us closer to the elite level once again. Here a stats from the commentator...Chelsea have not qualify for the knock out stage of the UCL in 6 years when we in it. Shows how far chelsea have fallen. Average team...nothing great nothing good....just plain average. |

“Lampard reportedly aiming to sell 8 players in the summer window, Jorginho among the to-be axed players.”
I thought Jorgi performed quite well this season, why suddenly want to axe him Sos: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...ers-summer.html |
