The prefix is dynamic, but there are many ways to update a dns name, every time it changes. So you don't have to think about it

These days all MY Telcos give IPv6, which is 'public' by definition.
So do you really need a public IPv4 so much?

yet still not all telco allow direct access to IPv6,
I have tried to access my phone via IPv6 and cannot be reached, telco specifically block incoming connection,

Land Line Unifi & Maxis is allowed direct access IPv6, need disable router firewall

Sure a not?

At their FAQ site, it specifically said that for CCTV to work the customer must ensure that their CCTV allows private dynamic IP to work with no other solutions.

For certain if they allow public IP, they wouldn't have mention that.

Can I have my CCTV connected to the service?

The service is only compatible with selected brands and certain models of CCTV. Kindly ensure that your CCTV is compatible with a private dynamic IP. You may also need to contact your CCTV supplier for configuration.

Hi mate/sifu, the IPv6 are static or dynamic? Because IPv4 they provide are dynamic.

I believe Private IP is usually slower to load websites. And you may get blacklisted by Google frequently for too many requests and you will be presented with their Capcha verification frequently. Correct me if mistaken.

TIME, Unifi, Maxis Fibre give dynamic Delegation IPv6 with /64 prefix,

Since IPv6 have 128-bit Address, most ISP using 64-bit prefix delegation, easier to chop Address, for example:

WAN Address via PPPoE IPv6CP:
2001:D08:E1:2984::/64

LAN Address via DHCPv6/ND (Autoconfigration):
::BAB1:DEAD:C14A:DEAF

So, to make complete Address, WAN + Autoconfiguation:
2001:D08:E1:2984:BAB1:DEAD:C14A:DEAF

Take note that, LAN Address can be anything, untrackable!
If you want to create static IPv6 like LAN IPv4, you can use EUI-64 (MAC Address) as part of complete IPv6 Address:

MAC Address:
A8-5E-45-00-CA-FE

EUI-64 Address:
::AA5E:45FF:FE00:CAFE

WAN + EUI64:
2001:D08:E1:2984:AA5E:45FF:FE00:CAFE

IPv6 Renew Address become:
2001:D08:E1:DEAD:AA5E:45FF:FE00:CAFE
2001:D08:E1:F123:AA5E:45FF:FE00:CAFE
2001:D08:E1:F00C:AA5E:45FF:FE00:CAFE
2001:D08:E1:B00B:AA5E:45FF:FE00:CAFE

WAN Address is changing, but EUI-64 are not, easy to keep tracking and setup firewall

How will the Celcom subscriber know after they'd changed the public IP?
Will your username suffix change public from home like Maxis?
