Pre-ordered S20+ from Seng Heng. Pray this Exynos chip actually good this time. When can we expect to get it? I saw someone say some will get items much earlier than the actual delivery date (4 March)? Opted for the store pickup

haiyo they should increase preorder units for S20 ultra actually since there is overwhelming demand
Indeed. Went to the shop to order mine just now and they say I’m only the like the 3rd people ordering the S20+ at their shop lol. Nobody even orders the S20. No free gifts and overshadowed by the Ultra which is the main attraction. Samseng really only treats the Galaxy S series as guinea pigs for their actual flagship, the Note Series.

Can you cancel your order? Where did you place your preorder?
Based on T&C it says "Customer is not allowed to cancel the Pre-Order, change the selected device colour or model and the selected outlet once Customer has successfully completed and confirmed the transaction via iPay88."
Non-refundable deposit. So yeah 500 will be burned. Much better than burning 4k though. Another solution would be using the unit and selling it for a minor loss. Less headache.
I know a lot of casual users won’t really mind the Exynos processor but for a power user, it’s kind of a nightmare.

To be fair, 5 hours SOT (depending on how and what you use your phone) would be quite fair. If Samsung One UI comes with a 5G Toggle Button to off 5G (there is not 5G network in Malaysia), I am pretty sure the battery life will improve. I don't think this issue doesn't warrant a cancellation. Nope you cant. Your Rm500 would be considered to be burned.
The reviewer stated he was using Wifi. Might be the 5G chip “helping” the battery drain but based on Samsung’s track history with the Exynos chips, I wouldn’t wanna keep my hopes too high.

Not enough incentive to upgrade the phone what with people only buying the Ultra and Samsung can’t cope with the demand. Coupled that with the Coronavirus outbreak there, most people are probably panicking and stocking essentials like food instead of buying phones.
They don't. Some brands like Huawei use the ultra wide angle lens for macro shots like in the Mate 20 Pro. The reason that phone can use macro because it has auto focus in the ultra wide angle unlike phones like iPhone 11 Pro or Galaxy S10, S20 etc
Galaxy S20 Ultra only has 5x optical zoom. Galaxy S20 ad S20+ do NOT have true optical zoom. The second camera sensor that takes telephoto is 64mp but they just crop within the 64mp to get the "zoomed" image.
It's the same principle when you only have a single camera and you zoom into an image.
All previous Galaxy flagship (S10, Note10, Note9, S9, etc) has 2x optical zoom but the S20/S20+ has no real optical zoom.
Expect this to be the worst selling S series ever. What a joke lol. Even new camera technology, inferior camera than its predecessor is unacceptable. Selling this off for a small loss to my analog rich aunt when the OP8 comes out
