I got 870 in the last test. I turned on high power mode, restart the phone, turned off things like Bixby and onehanded+. Found a place where I can get a full bar on my 4G and did the test. Also waited for the phone to cool down completely. Exynos is shit lol
Mainly due to the bad peak efficiency for Exynos i.e. the custom M5 core. Hence, the heat throttling and lower performance.
I checked and the price is cheaper than Malaysia exynos version. A bit too good to be true no? Considering its selling for $1400 in the US. Anyone willing to give it a go to see it's the real deal or not? 😈
They have been selling Note10 series with Snapdragon at lower than local prices also. Can check that the shop got good rating.
S20 series with exynos is cheap compared to snapdragons (at least price wise in Malaysia). Unless ur paying USD1499 for S20ultra SD and getting performance as S20ultra exynos, then u may feel like being cheated or unless ur living in UK and paid so much for Exynos, yeah u kinda being dupe. Again u r in Malaysia. Dont like it, get the other phones or wait and paid like US for AP SD set. Lol. 😆🤣😂
Samsung Malaysia could increase the RRP by RM 300 to RM 500 more and offer us the Snapdragon version with local warranty and also all the preorder freebies. But they decided not to as they want to maintain Exynos market share and to recoup the R&D spent on Exynos. We are already paying great money of RM 4k and more and yet we get something that is subpar to cheaper phones with Snapdragon 865.

The 120hz on the oppo is way better then the S20 Ultra, can see the differences a lot in it. Just received my oppo earlier today. Sorry if not relevant here pls delete my thread

Agree , oppo 120hz really noticeable when scrolling up n down the Settings menu. The smoothness is really easy on the eyes.
I think someone did a comparison for it few days back. But the comments favour S20.
Oh no wonder same price as local Malaysia set...turns out to be single SIM. Hmm...I don't actually use dual SIM but I do use the external memory storage. Like that kena think again...
Single SIM still got another slot for microSD card just that the memory slot cannot be used for a second SIM, so no worries.
"Frankly, I’m quite disappointed in the results of the S20 series. They’re still good, and represent upgrades to the S10 series in most scenarios, but they fall short of the overhyped expectations. I think Apple’s iPhone 11 Pro’s main sensor quality and pictures are still a step above what the S20’s can deliver in daylight, with cleaner, sharper and more natural results. Huawei also is seemingly years ahead of Samsung when it comes to complex camera systems like the one employed on the S20 Ultra, having much better optics and the proper software processing to actually deal with the multiple modules."

But 900 come with snapdragon, 12gb memory and 5G. 😅
Yeah. At least those who say the Snapdragon more expensive should give the SoC, storage, 5G and 12 GB RAM some consideration, especially on the S20 and S20+. Indeed, the Snapdragon SoC is more expensive than the Exynos. I would say at most the Snapdragon version is about RM 500 max more expensive than the SME model.
The only thing I worry is the heating issue on the Exynos as it has been the case since S9 series compared to Snapdragon which has higher efficiency due to the Exynos using less efficient Samsung custom core.
Looks like the seller is also selling 256 GB model from South Korea (G98XN) with new colour options like red, blue, and, white. 🙂

After watching reviews on P40 Pro and preview of P40 Pro+, I think if one really emphasize on camera features, Huawei is the better choice, also the Huawei App Gallery is gaining momentum. Since the major selling point of the S20 Ultra is the camera with its gimmicky 100x zoom. I would say Huawei is one year ahead of Samsung in telephoto/periscope technology. For those insist on getting a Samsung, I recommend the more practical option of S20+ instead of Ultra.

No doubt Huawei is indeed good at camera department especially its night & zoom mode. S20U is suppose to sell well but with so many negativity comments on the net, many users will reconsider it. Paid so much for the S20U to expect a great camera but end up got a 'bad' camera setup phone is really
Now backup plan from Samsung is to push up the sales of S20+ already. Saw Senheng got promo for this model.
Samsung should have delayed the launch of the Ultra until they get the camera software correct rather than rushing to launch it and get negative comments which will be forever recorded in the Internet.
