On the heating issue, I think is normal for Exynos. On my S10+, the back will heat up noticeably (especially using the phone without a case) whenever the Samsung custom cores are used such as when using the camera app, else the phone is at room temperature. This is the behavior of the Exynos SoC that I don't like.

On the focusing issue, I think Samsung can only do as much as it can on software side of things and don't expect it to perform focusing as fast as past Samsung camera sensor with super speed dual pixel autofocus technology. The 108 MP sensor only has the more conventional PDAF. This is where I would say that high megapixels count does not necessarily mean it is a good thing. To achieve such a high megapixels, the individial pixels size are so small that it does not have the dual pixel autofocus technology. High megapixels camera sensors with similar dual pixels autofocus are just starting to pop-up earlier this year with Sony sensors at 48 MP and 64 MP. Examples of phones with this sensors are the Oppo Find X2 Pro, OnePlus 8 Pro, and Huawei P40 series.

Snapdragon S20 Ultra @ 120 Hz blows them out of the water.

The Aztech My that sells Snapdragon S20 series on Lazada and Shopee got the units from the US (G98XU) and South Korea (G98XN) for single sim version. For dual-sim version, it gets them from the HK/China (G98X0) version but more expensive.

It is indeed impressive. If set at 60 Hz, it will sure beat iPhone which is also on 60 Hz.

For me, it is an easy choice. I would pick the S20+ over Ultra anytime purely due to the size and weight of the phone. 🙂

Looks like only Note20+ will have 120 Hz @ QHD with variable refresh rate. Also, it will be using new technology called LTPO which will save battery. hahaha. Again, we are looking at S20 series being the experimental device with battery-hogging 120 Hz.
