By disabling the optimize battery on the biometric process, it does improve the unlocking speed. nice.

Nice find. Never knew about biometrics in the battery optimisation settings also.

Hi bro. Yeah tried restarted multi times. Still same . And when in 120hz mode, the phone will heating up even when taking photo. 5 min trying zoom here n there then heating up. Overall I think the software still not stable .
*
Doesn't happen with mine. Always on 120hz.
I think should try to claim warranty for this. Doesn't sound normal. Last resort before going for warranty claim is to wipe and reset the phone to see if its a bug somewhere.
If still not resolved then can go claim warranty d. Samsung phones quite famous for overheating and mobo problem. Luckily the service centres are good tongue.gif

so sad...really tat bad for exynos?

Preordered the s20 ultra and using for 1 month plus.
Battery life wise getting around 6 to 7 hours sot which to me is more than good enough.
Performance pretty much flies through day to day use. Unless you're big on gaming especially games like pubg or cod then should be fine.
Only downside to it so far is the camera performance can be hit or miss sometimes with the autofocus issue due to sensor too big. Would recommend going with a s20+ if heavy camera usage.
Would not recommend going for SD version as the warranty not covered locally unless you're not worried / willing to take risk then sure get the SD version.
Another forummer here has both and seems like the difference in day to day use is definitely negligible.
Issue here is more of a principle, in that Samsung giving us the "worse" version compared to the rest of the world.

Any suggestion guys? smile.gif

I think no need to put on power saving. Just put on optimised. Try using the phone as you would normally use it and let the software "settle down" and learn your usage.
If still battery life not improving/gets abnormally hot with battery drain then should send to service centre to check.

On the latest update. Mixed use with 4g and WiFi. Mostly WiFi biggrin.gif quite satisfied with the sot. Includes few hours of netflix with max brightness for that hdr goodness.

Resolution? 60 or 120hz? Exynos or SD?
*
Exynos on 120hz full HD.
Kinda wish there was a toggle to go between qhd 60hz and 1080p 120hz on the fly sweat.gif
For watching stuff like YouTube etc definitely prefer the higher resolution.

120hz is refresh rate, got nothing to do with the youtube video being full hd.
*
Yeah I know but you can't have both mah. When you set 120hz it's only full hd can't watch in qhd smile.gif
