I don't think there's a difference in the cream, BUT I will say the bread in Gardenia buns is the most "solid"

Both Mighty White and Massimo buns have lighter, fluffier bread

Twinkies are awesome though... and there's no competition for Squiggles

Mango by Mighty White is the best supermarket cream bun flavor I've had!
But not produced anymore too.
Most of the time their cream buns are soft, but certain days can be dry and stale...

That's why I laughed at people who plotek Gardenia so bad and #BMF. It's ok if they genuinely like the bread, but not ok butthurt with Nons buying Massimo. They probably licensed the manufacturing for msian bread to a bumi company.

Well, technically it belongs to Indon, parent company QAF is listed in SGX.
They plotek most likely coz GBKL (Malaysian subsidiary) is well, connected to Padi Beras Nasional.
Story below.

About Us
Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd (GBKL) is a subsidiary of a food listed company, QAF Ltd, who also operates Gardenia Singapore, Gardenia Philippines and will soon be opening Gardenia bakery in Fujian, China.

GBKL is an associate company of Padi Beras Nasional Berhad.

Brief History
In 1969, an American named Horatio Sye Slocumm was sent by International Executive Service Corporation (IESC) to East Malaysia to start a bakery. Mr. Slocumm brought with him 35 years of baking experience with one of America's leading chain of bakeries. Gardenia was born.

Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd rolled the first loaf of bread off its line in 1986. Within four short years, it became the bread market leader with an astounding 99 percent brand recall rate and 80 percent top-of-mind recall.

Gardenia's range of products grew and evolved through the years, becoming better and better with each step. Leveraging on its brand strength, Gardenia now produces a variety of baked products to satisfy consumers' demands.
