r u joining DWH? how come i din see got new staff in DWH? hmmm... superiors ar? actually depends on whether u can make urself suit into the environment or not. DWH more on analysis (of cuz need to do techincal in SQL). Lately DWH having few project running in local and oversea... coming in project will be in vietnam and labuan...

As wat the ex-silverlakes said... its good that u do the oversea project cuz can earn per diem. Silverlake is a very good place for learning. In fact... i learn alot in DWH...

Just dropping by this thread to ask if silverlake people do any VB6 client software development or usually its more web based? Do you guys deal with all the .dll, .ocx stuff? I know crystal reports are used for reporting. Just wondering if anyone in this company ever done thing like generate out excel reports?

ha .. thanks for highlighted on increment mainly starting from 10% - 20%.
I have been working in SL few yrs and this is the history on my life in SL.

I dont think we have an issue on "daily attitudes, such as punctuality, communication, your work quality and etc".
as not only me to have such increment, whole staffs also same excluded those who get promoted. (never asked how many % but some said not really good)

my junior who worked here 2 yrs+, he get RM100+ increment only.
As you mentioned,  fresh grad roughly Rm2800 and you guess 2 yrs experience salary and get RM100 increment. What's the percentage on it?

Let's take RM2800 and increment is RM100, the increment is < 4%.

Anyway, i just want to release my anger and would like to let those who wanna join SL that its not guarantee that you will have min 10% increment as it subject to which subsi you join also.
