you can probably make one yourself - rubber window seal + acrylic sheet. only thing must figure out how to make the aluminum frame. |

QUOTE(andrewlimkn @ Feb 6 2020, 10:48 AM) Any good contact for custom-sized acrylic sheets? I probably just stick the sheet to the frames using two-way tape only. the fundamental of this is that it creates isolation effect and the rubber/foam will take the vibration generated transfer through air. Rigid-body has a minimal damping effect, you need an exact cut sheet of + seal with a slightly overconstrain of 1mm to fit into the window frame. it will become a double glazed window acrylic sheets is not cheap (depends on thickness) can buy from shopee, I think there is someone who can custom cut to size with a cost. Thanks for the tips... that is something what I plan to do. I going to stick the cut sheet on the window frame, creating sort of a double pane window with an empty space. i don't really open those windows anyway so it doesn't really concern meRigid-body has a minimal damping effect, you need an exact cut sheet of + seal with a slightly overconstrain of 1mm to fit into the window frame. it will become a double glazed window acrylic sheets is not cheap (depends on thickness) can buy from shopee, I think there is someone who can custom cut to size with a cost. I found a shop selling 5mm 6 x 4' acrylic sheets for RM200+ |
