Hello, modders,

Want to ask anyone here using NZXT G12 adaptor to pair with AIO for GFX card cooling?

Mind share actual result?

My issue is that I'm using R9 290, but the noise level too high for the std gfx fan...

Am planning to use my CPU cooler now Corsair H80i V2 to pair it with NZXT G12 adaptor... and get a Kraken X72 / Corsair H150i 360mm cooler for my CPU

Changing this would cost me ~RM1k

Or should I just change to 2060 Super ( ~RM1.6k ) straight... which card has the 'lowest noise'...

FYI my setup is i7600k (O/C to 4.7GHz stable)

ATI R9 290 (no o/c)

ASUS ROG Z270F

Corsair 16GB DDR4 3200 Mhz

Nothing beats real watercooling
Add extra RM500 from that RM1K budget you can get full Bykski watercooling with hard tubing

But if you really insist on AIO, why not just get this:
http://www.idcooling.com/Product/detail/id...CEKIMO%20240VGA

Only RM345 in Shopee

Thanks @shawty

This looks like better choice... I'm not fan of hard tubing.. just want the performance without the hard work...lol

What is the brand and exact model of your GPU?
Need to check if the GPU has middle plate or not
If the GPU doesn't have middle plate, you'll have a nightmare sticking the small heatsinks to the PWM / memory

opps placed an order ystd..

cant recall the brand .. maybe MSI? it looks like the reference cooler

ill try passive cooling first.. the fan should have enough airflow to blow the memory chips

btw... i think i will have problem mounting this if the hose is not long enough..

im using super big/tall CM HAF-X casing

the only way to mount 240mm rad is to the top casing... and this is full tower.. not sure the tubing can reash

Change your case lah, you're willing to spend RM1K on a watercooling set anyway
Also, no offense but that HAF-X is ugly as hell LOL

lol.. install d...

i have to move the H80i 120mm v2 radiator inlet downward (not a good position) in order to put the icekimo 240mm mm top rad

yeah its fugly ... but it the best voted case for airflow icon_rolleyes.gif ... bought it last time specifically for the airflow design

low.. now the corsair fan is the loudest noise in the case .. never ending game of cat and mouse on silent .. i think i have about 10 fans in total (4 in ; 6 out including rad fans)

Last time yes la that case wins in best airflow, nowadays there are lots of less than RM300 cases that has better airflow than that case
And the only reason why you should stick with that casing is if you have 5 x 3.5" HDD
If not, there are tons of cases out there with better airflow & better look

PS: Since you already install the new cooler, mind sharing some pictures of the inside of your rig, pretty interested to know how is the look inside your case
