FAQ Delete a file permanently, How to do it?

Even if you delete the file, empty the recycle bin, the file is probably still physically on your hard disk.

What the OS does is just delete the reference to the file, and that sector will be replaced by some other files as and when they come in

Use TuneUp Shredder as suggested to permanently remove the file smile.gif

 

Change to:
