wow this car really no owner in malaysia ka..

Just got mine last weekend. Really loving the handling and suspension so far, really comfortable drive. Some things I'm not too happy about with the car:

- Keyless entry is only from driver's side. For me, I have a child to put/take out in the back seat on the left side, so I always have to lock/unlock using the key instead of keyless.
- Apple Carplay is only using cable, no wireless. Adding to that, the placement of the USB slot makes the cable interfere with my left hand while I drive.
- The door angle opening is not as wide as a Honda. This makes putting/taking out a child from a car seat a bit tight.
- Fuel consumption so far for city driving is 11-12 km/l on Eco mode. Don't know what other users are getting but I feel like this is pretty low compared to my wife's City.
- Sound system is so-so only.

How is the nvh bro? Seems like not a convenient family car but i dont think alot car got all door keyless..

The car responses very well to all the road undulations, so vibration is non-existent and the ride is smooth, I would say more comfortable than a Civic. But the noise from outside is a bit loud compared to other cars I've driven but nothing too serious. After a few days, got used to it already.

About the keyless, I'm just comparing it to a Honda which has both front doors keyless, so you can lock/unlock from either side.

I guess there's no perfect car out there. If I were to have bought a Civic, I'd probably complain about other things. I just hope the Corolla is a reliable car smile.gif

Ah i see, i tot corrolla is very muted the nvh the previous gen. Yeah honda jazz also have front passenger side, i understand so actually dont need all door but at least both side should have keyless.

Dont worry corrolla is very reliable because the engine hasnt change for 10yrs i think lol. Only interior change but i see this gen looks much better than last gen. My surprise ia that the handling and suspension is good. I will go test drive. Really sad to see no fanbase here in msia for this car.

It's quite a head turner especially with the lights on and not many on the road, so people keep looking to see what car I'm driving icon_rolleyes.gif

It's the rear double wishbone suspension that makes the handling and suspension superb.

Yeah, quite sad that this thread is dead. Lots of Civic users on this forum. Try going on Facebook group "Altis Club Malaysia",it's quite lively but not a lot of Gen 12 users there.

Were u considering Mazda 3 before you bought Altis ? If yes, what’s make you decide to go with Altis ?
*
Yes I considered the Mazda 3, but then it was out of my budget.

in another word, if budget is not a concern, you'll go with Mazda 3?
*
Oh for sure. Design wise exterior and interior far superior to Civic or Altis. Driving experience I would say equal to Altis. It comes with 6 years free service too. Too bad it's like RM1.7k/month for a C-segment car.

deposit paid, loan granted.

waiting for 2 weeks already, still no deliver date.

From the Altis Gen 12 Facebook group, some are still waiting from September. Didn't your SA tell you when you can get the car before you booked? I bought from SA that can give me highest rebate and quickest delivery.

1.7 is based on 60 or 84 months loan?

RM1.7k is based on 108mths. Close to RM2k for 84mths.
