There was also talk about having 7 substitutes on the bench. I for one am not against the idea of having more substitutes involved. It may benefit teams with a large squad but it will also ensure that players are fresh and the pace of the game can be maintained through the 90 minutes of play.
I tot the 7 subs thing was recently approved by the EPL? its already in place in other countries iianm...cmiiw

Shebby has more insight as compared to them but he is prone to the occasional foot in mouth diseases....
I remember the early days, when Jamie and Mase would have these sheets of datas with them everytime they go on show, presumably with datas and information of the players/ games etc cos they keep referring to it, but Shebby just always sits there with palms clapped together, trying to look composed and just blurting out everything more as a reaction than a real analysis. I used to dislike him for that, cos it shows lack of respect to your job and to the viewers. However i admit he has improved over the years and is more aware of the issues at hand and does bit more research into matters. But everytime he discusses issues on a more global nature (for example the bung scandal few years back, the imposing of transfer window in EPL few years back etc) where he had no personal information/ knowledge from his own playing days (and obviuosly did not do much research on it) he will just be talking what i seriously think is just c*ap.
Its just my 2 cents though. I agree with most when they say he may be an ok pundit but not a good commentator.....
but cant deny he adds some entertainment value to the show...no direspect to him, but there is a certain kind of chemistry whenve he, dykes, Macca, mase and Jamie are around...
