Actually I for one have never thought that Shebby was biased towards Spurs. I have met him in a bar before and had a conversation with him over a few beers and he comes across as a decent bloke, which is why I said my attacks weren't personal. A lot of people are the bar were giving him a lot of stick for being a Spurs fan but he just smiled and laughed it off. I don't think his comments are biased.
McMahon if you ask me, isn't all for Liverpool. Of course you can't compare his allegiance to the club with Shebby's. I mean McMahon actually played for the club, grew attached to them and has lived there. He however is not completely biased as you allege him to be. I'm sure some blokes can back me up on this; he has some pretty strong words to say about the club like "why keep rotating and not play your best players each week?", "why does Rafa always look at this game with the next in mind? Why not focus on each game as they come?", "Liverpool simply haven't got the quality". These are just some of his comments. He may be a Liverpool fan at heart and it may show sometimes, but even he isn't as optimistic as some posters here.
Fair enough , but some of his comments still make me cringe . I quite enjoy listening to his comments about LFC every once in a while though .
@whoopa : Theres nothing wrong with supporting a team but biased commentating / punditry is annoying .
Eg: You're watching an Arsenal vs Newcastle game .
And you support newcastle ...
Fabregas scores ....
Commentator : "OMG FABREGAS WHAT A GOAL WHAT A GOAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Then the commentator will go on and talk about how great a side Arsenal is for the next 5 minutes . Would you feel pissed off?
It doesn't happen in all matches but sometimes tends to happen . Although i am a Man Utd fan , i really dislike it when the commentator says something in the terms of "Can Man Utd score ? They always score !!! " .
PS : I forgot to mention this on my last post but the IMHO worst pundit on espn is Sassy Kumar (although he is only on occasionally)
