a lot of people might have forgotten, back in the 90s China is also a frequent joke when it came to toilet:

1. you need to remember to bring umbrella to use toilet in China because frequently there is no door
2. you can see lots of "stone" underneath the toilet (wink wink)
etc etc

but nowadays no more joke about toilet in China. Maybe India one day in the future you won't joke about their toilet also.

those toilets are not the modern toilets with water flushing one... but the old fashion one you see in tv drama or movies of an older era.
