for not hot area, nope.
but this does not apply if you are renting big house when with house loan, you could only afford small house.

i rent for few year and with those extra money collected i could pay for large portion as downpayment.

instead of thinking your landlord as an evil vampire or evil capitalist, why not think the money your paid were returned as a service that you need (utilize those as much possible)

At current market, move new house every 2-3 years with no increase in rental, hehe

Those who can't or could barely afford a house will always be open about renting
Those who could afford a house easily to them renting is a waste of money

Now kolos

Renting is much lower risk and less stress. Example my condo area suddenly construct a flyover highway between condos.

Some condo owners want to sell due to noise of construction and damaged road but no takers. Props price dropped around the area. As a tenant, I can simply move to another area hahaha.

An apartment would be pretty run down 15-20 years in time, not to mention it was the owner who bear maintenance and repair cost.
Even you renovate it the outside appearance and facility will deteriorate.

If apartment rent better since there are always new and better project development.

Like rent remain the same for 2.1k for 25years.

Renting not bad. But even the video final number show own property having more gain in the end.
