This idea is terrible and an abuse of tax payer's money.

Not only it engages the use of private corporations to handle it.

It is apparently trying to copy China's way of e-money only transactions so the government can track your purchases.
This is the start of a dictatorial communist style tracking of money and end of privacy.
Any person worth their salt must fight this system or else eventually you will have no way to have physical cash as the government will control all aspects of money flow.
This is how population lose their freedom, when they give all of it up in the case of convenience to the government.
What PH is doing is stripping all your freedom and hand it over to the government.
This is the beginning of a totalitarian governance and PH is aping the prophecies listed in various novels that predicted this.

It is amounting to declaration of war to the population.
They're using YOUR tax money against you, to curtail your freedom.

First of all, what's wrong with engaging private corporations to manage the e-tunai rakyat initiative? e-wallet is the future and what makes you think that the government wants to track your transaction? What is there to track? It is just another payment channel, instead of using credit card or cash, we use e-wallet. If you are worry about being tracked by anybody, better use cash forever and rot in your cave. By the way, do you know who is actually controlling the movement of the money of e-wallet? Behind the scene it is still our local banks!! Pysical money will reside in bank but virtual currency is managed by the e-wallet companies.

I wonder how you can relate e-wallet to communism, perhaps you can foresee the future of Malaysian. What kind of freedom that we are going to lose? in fact, I am feeling safer because i dont have to carry so much cash in my wallet. e-wallet in Malaysia has been around more than 10 years even before PH took over the government and you are now pointing finger at PH for stripping our so call "freedom" by promoting e-wallet?

Seriously, i really dont understand your motive, unless you are PH's hater and simply find a reason to shove into PH's ass. Grow up and open your tiny eyes and brain, see what's happening out there. Otherwise, just shut your fking mouth and rot in your pathetic cave!
