Don't care. Still using W2K at home. Stable.

Had W7 for laptop. Don't care either.

W10 as home server really regret. Stupiak OS kept rebooting the machine during an update. All my shared drives kept disconnecting. And updates took a long time to complete.

Why do people still use Win 7? I have dumped it since Windows 8.

Unless there is old app which can't use new OS, there is no reason for consumers not to move to Windows 10.

And Windows 10 can run on my 8 bit computer!

If win 10 change the force update behaviour and fix the random spike then it would be good. Also the stubborn driver update.

And before you said disable it, there is no way to disable like win 7, unless you change the registry, or group policy. Meter connection doesn't work because somehow a very critical update must be updated and that can include an unimportant feature...

You can just ignore the tiles. Most of the time, i just type in searchbox, much easier. Ads coming from your app, not OS.

windows 10 interface does seems abit incomplete, like the system settings, the outta skin of the
interface dun really do much, still need the good old win7 control panel most of the time to get the
job done. sweat.gif

Keypirinha works.

Also works is Everything search + Wox. Quicklook is the spacebar info alternative for windows.

MaxView image viewer > all, but only version 2.1. https://filehippo.com/download_faststone_maxview/2.1/

WUB if you need to block the constant update, and only turn it on when you want to.

not going to use win10 as it is part of surveillance network and big data harvester, continue use win7 without antivirus, don't even care about wireless ax which only have win10 driver, waiting for china to release unity os and harmony os, win10 use in dualboot only if necessary

You mean the normal clamshell type notebook ah, you might have a setting to tweak and the default settings is when the laptop lid is closed it goes to sleep( unless your laptop hinge/ sensor is broken )

there's a way to convert 32bit windows files to 64bit

but it's a bit complex, and if you're lazy to just install win 64 bit in the same partition as your 32bit win10 and transfer your files over then I doubt you'd care.
