so much complain..
yet not major improvement in quality..
best part. blame on our device instead...

u try to report to MCMC Aduan... they keep "closing" your complain file by stating "resolved" but in actual it's Not.
so we needed to keep re-open the Report File again & again....

Ya...keep reporting and if it still close case again.
Call up MCMC and ask why why why .....why close.

When I put my U Mobile in oppo and vivo phones which support 4G band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 38, 40 and 41 ( the information is available on their official website - specifications there ), the signal in my house has dropped to 3G, 1 bar, very unstable and totally cannot online.

When I put it in SAMSUNG, HUAWEI / HONOR and Xiaomi Redmi phones which support 4G band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 39, 40 and 41, the signal in my house is 4G, almost full bar, good and stable.

What I want to say is, no matter what price is your phone, if the phone does not have 4G band 20, U Mobile line will become very weak in the house and building.

That's all.

I am dead serious hahaha
Previously had a dingdong battle with Assshole UMobile and MCMC.

But since Gobind Singh is our New Minister....chances we got a shot at assshole the UMobile and MCMC now.

Last time UMobile no fucking our complaint.
That why I give up and change telco.

Any huge difference?
If uses different phone..
If iOS vs Android then yes..
But between Android won't be much difference..

Trying to blame device problem like those Telco CS always says instead of Telco network fault 😋
QUOTE(Khuan0813 @ Jan 24 2020 @ 04:33 AM)
Yes, huge different between the open areas and in a building (like house).

Most of oppo and vivo phones just have 4G band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 38, 40 and 41 only.

If you are using U Mobile or Yes 4G, you can have good signal in the open area. But once you entering a building, the signal becomes bad, cannot surfing internet and even go to 3G.

Since LG is not official launch in Malaysia, although it has 4G band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 39, 40 and 41 (according to LG V30+ Hong Kong version), I don't know whether U Mobile can suit or not with the phone.

masalah smartphone again,i got snapdragon chip are one of the strongest network performing chips(especially compared to Samsung exynos or apple intel modem)

i wonder why telco has fan base as well,i thought fan war is between smartphone brand, smh

When I put my U Mobile in oppo and vivo phones within price range RM1,299 and below ( 4G band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 38, 40 and 41 ), the signal in my house has dropped to 3G, very unstable and totally cannot online.

When I put it in SAMSUNG, HUAWEI / HONOR and Xiaomi Redmi phones ( 4G band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 39, 40 and 41 ), the signal in my house is 4G, good and stable.

It's just my own experience only. Nothing to do with fan or not fan.

Afaik;

UMobile uses only 4G LTE Band 7 = 2600MHz and 3G Band 1 = 2100MHz.  So, the problem should lie with the lower quality 4G modem inside the mid-end Oppo and Vivo phones, eg can only detect strong 4G signal = at least 3 bars.

QUOTE(lurkingaround @ Jan 26 2019 @ 11:25 AM)
P S - It is common in China to publish fake specifications, ie Oppo and Vivo may publish fake specs for their phones, eg actually got no LTE Band 7 = 2600MHz, since China does not use this band.

4G LTE frequency bands in China

China uses mainly TDD LTE in various bands for the 4G service. China Mobile uses three spectrum bands of 1.9 GHz, 2.3 GHz and 2.5 GHz for 4G LTE service, which are respectively Band 39, 40 and 41. Similarly, China Unicom uses 1800 MHz, 2.3 GHz, and 2.5 GHz, namely band 3, band 40 and band 41. Among them, only band 3 (1800 MHz) is the FDD LTE. Lastly, China Telecom uses 1800 MHz, 2.3 GHz, and 2.5 GHz the same as that of China Unicom. But China Telecom will add 2.1 GHz and 850 MHz frequency band to increase the speed significantly using Carrier aggregation. UNQUOTE
